If you suspect that you have PCOS symptoms, it is very important that you consult a health professional. In this regard, you can get more information from the PCOS Association.
These features of PCOS – particularly the extra hair growth as this is difficult to hide – can cause an indirect emotional stress from having to deal with the physical and metabolic changes, and the possible insecurity about their femininity. Unfortunately the hair growth is permanent; it will not disappear even if you are able to reverse other PCOS symptoms.
At Champion Laser, we encounter many women who suffer from PCOS, and have helped them by reducing or eliminating the unwanted hair through laser hair removal and/or electrolysis.
Please note that we require that each client meet with us for a laser hair removal consultation and test patch before beginning treatment. At that time we’ll be able to advise the best method and schedule to effectively deal with your concerns. There is no charge for this consultation and no obligation. It takes 5 days to get test results back, so please book early for free consultation and we will do your patch test at that time.
