Poise And Power
Written by Auriella O'Neill
When poise comes to you, you find that you are already in a place of strength. For in that place, you are centered and connected to yourself as you have never been before. In that center is the calm. Like the calm that is present in the eye of the storm. That is where the strength is. In that calmness. In that place of poise. It is a powerful place to be for there you find yourself unruffled and standing upright with the strength like that of a mighty oak. You are there within yourself like a pillar of strong marble. Steady and strong.
Poise is an attribute that few people have, but an attribute that is essential to the growth and evolving of the human being. For how can you grow to be stronger within yourself if you have not discovered or know what the place of quiet strength and power feels like? For it is here that you come to know the real beauty of your strength. The real key to your strength and power.
Poise is an attribute desired by many though it is called by many other names. Go within yourself and find that quiet spot of strength. It may be very small, but it is there. Everyone has it because you could not survive without it. Find it, nourish it, cause it to expand and become the greater part of you. Let it take over your life so that you may know the real feeling of strength in Poise. Let it be who you are. That perfect expression of God and the power that is inherent in that expression. Let yourself be known for it. Let yourself feel and know the power within you.

But if, on the contrary, you find you are living someone else’s life via trending, or depressed and distressed by

“Weight-Train” Your Brain
I have a new cell phone. I didn’t want a new cell phone; I was perfectly happy with my 2020 cell phone, but it wasn’t happy with me. Its connector charging port was ailing. Failing, actually, the service tech told me. And besides, it was an old phone, what did I expect? Old? This to a woman who is more than content, read “thrilled,” to wear outdated fashions just because she likes them. And would willingly keep computers way past their supposed “shelf life.” Sigh. OK, fine,

Declutter Your Heart
We speak of decluttering our spaces--our homes, garages, offices--but how often do we think of decluttering ourselves? As in letting go of outdated emotions, the guilts, fears, regrets that no longer serve us in any way? After all, isn’t that how you declutter your closet? You look over your outfits and discard clothes you haven’t worn in years, or that are so not-trendy you can barely stand to look at them, or which remind you of that awful fight you had with – well, never
