Francis’ weekly Angelus address focused on "Thou shalt not kill," saying it applied “also to those behaviors which offend the dignity of the human person, including insulting words."

The history of the papacy includes the killing of heretics who protested the title, Lord God the Pope as Luther did. The Protestant Reformers risked their lives to show the papacy as a fulfillment of the ‘little horn’ growing out of the Roman Empire (4th beast) in Daniel 7, also the harlot in Revelation 17.

America has done well with free speech until now. Why should we change to fit papal sensitivity to historic facts? Anyone can claim they are offended by anything.

Trouble would begin, except that our Constitution allows free speech, whether it be about politicians, popes Buddha, Christ (often used in swearing) or Mohammed.

What we say should be true, but woe to us if we come to believe free speech could be a crime and start interpreting whether something said could offend someone.

Canada prohibits printed material like that which started the Protestant Reformation. It’s a sad mistake when we can’t print or speak truth that could help someone else.

We should allow God to be the judge of the heart and let government stick with their job of enforcing Commandments 5-10 on those who don’t choose to do them. They are wise guidelines to happiness. People who lie, cheat, steal or kill are not happy people and offensive to society.
The commandments are as descriptive of happiness as health laws are descriptive of well-being. Observance of both kinds goes a long way to eliminating the need for big government. Open borders and millions of aliens who don’t see biblical wisdom has been changing America for decades with decadence as the result.

Another danger is the pope’s Laudato Si’ that promotes Sunday closure as an aid to global warming while that warming is less than half a degree per decade! Family values, church attendance and the Eucharist are the hidden agenda, par. 237, pdf online.

“Congress shall make no laws respecting the establishment of religion.” There is nothing in the Bible that makes Sunday any different from any other day while “Sabbath” is found nine times in the book of Acts, and “every Sabbath” is found three times.
Nevertheless, when New World Order is set up, Christians who keep the Sabbath will probably have to go to Israel as the only place that Sabbath is allowed. Ezekiel 36:24-28. Where is the “land of the free and the home of the brave”?
