For most women, the purpose of wearing makeup is to look younger, not older. Ironically, although many popular cosmetic companies promise their products will make you look young, their long term effects often cause the exact opposite...advanced aging. Pure, natural, organic products are the best choice for makeup and skin care. But even with the best choices, women often make a few common mistakes that can easily be corrected with the following practical and new age beauty tips...
Ways Your Makeup Could Be Aging You:
1.) Too much liner (mainly on the bottom of your eyes.)
2.) Too much foundation (especially under the eyes. )
3.) Too much powder (dries the skin. Blotters or a simple tissue are better.)
4.) Makeup that isn't mineral based (and I can write an entire book about the dangers of the chemicals many manufacturers use.)
Overall, too much of any makeup ages you. It is best to moisturize your skin and keep your look natural. Wear less makeup and focus primarily on having healthy skin.
Ways To Take Care Of Your Skin At Night:
1.) Well, moisturizer is key, and quite conventional, but only with all natural, organic products. My passion for organic products is what got me into the skincare business after decades of modeling. It is what keeps me looking and feeling young today in my 40s.
2.) Aromatherapy. It is not a popular beauty regimen, but it works. Often the soothing scent of all natural organic herbs is an excellent stress reliever, and can be as therapeutic and medicinal as it is spiritually healing.
3.) Chamomile tea. Not only will organic chamomile tea soothe your stomach and digestive system, it is also a refreshing, aromatic treat for a night time and anytime beverage.
4.) At least 15-20 minutes of your favorite activity before bed. This can entail going on the computer, meditating, indulging in your favorite dessert, or enjoying some cuddle time with someone you care about, because love is really good for a healthy glow, anytime and every time.
Do not let mass media fool you. You cannot buy beauty in a bottle, but you can buy products that enhance your natural beauty. And copying a celebrity's look does not showcase your own uniquely individual look, nor does plastic surgery, which always looks what it is...plastic. Nothing can make you stay young forever, but you can forever feel young and be naturally beautiful. The lesson to be learned is quite simple. Beauty = Healthy. Healthy Skin = Being Beautiful. Being Beautiful = Feeling Beautiful + Nurturing Yourself. So be sure to take the best care that you can of your mind, body, and spirit.

Adams has been featured in and on numerous magazine covers as well as various newspapers such as New York Post, Daily News, Newsday, etc. as well as TV channels 2 (CBS), 4 (NBC), 5 (FOX), 7 (ABC), 9 (WOR) 11 (WPIX), NY 1 News, CNN, etc. and other media such as Entertainment Tonight, The Late Show With David Letterman, Playboy TV, etc. Aside from her active modeling and writing career, Adams dedicates most of her time investing in Fortune 500 companies, which enabled her to become a self-made millionaire before the age of 30. Now Adams also dedicates most of her time towards philanthropy, and continuing to enjoy as much of a private life as she can possibly have with her family.

Simmering just below most people's awareness most of the time is an instinct for not making a mistake, not being wrong. It can be a quiet but steady unease that makes a person less comfortable in his own skin.

***The Talk: The Tennessee Expert
The lanky blond man bends to come in the door of the deposition room. I am there with my Stenograph set up ready to go. It's always best when an expert witness is the first to arrive: You can chitchat with him, put him at ease, find out what he is an expert in and how he talks, because you are responsible to write it down sensibly. I ask for his curriculum vitae (a resume of sorts). Here is a list single-spaced in small print of a page and a half of death-defying stunts: Evel Knievel he was--stuntman, fire jumper, demolition . . . and him barely thirty years old.

You sense it. It's a program running in the background that you are about as conscious of as you are of your refrigerator running or your own breathing. But when you least expect it, spiritual reality intrudes and grabs the spotlight like a car accident intrudes upon a normal afte oon, often bequeathing you a new perspective. Or sometimes there is a quiet moment imbued with an ill-defined super-reality that you long to revisit. Maybe a deja-vu; maybe a breakthrough; or is it just one of those daydreams in which the colors of the scene around you seem altered?
