Each year, when my birthday rolls around again, it serves as a reminder of what I've learned over the past twelve months and how sharing these simple ideas with you is my way of paying it forward. I love Being the Change and I encourage you to Be the Change in your life as well. Here's a little Alphabet of Instructions to assist you.
Attitude: Attitude governs everything I do. It's so much more important than all the facts I've learned, than any experience I have, than how I look or what skills I have unfolded. My attitude is the driving force behind all my actions.
Actions: I want my actions to inspire others to dream bigger dreams, learn more about life, take bigger steps, and become more successful.
Be: the essence behind my life is my be-ing, my I am-ness. I cannot be all things to all people, but I do love the idea of being something to someone.
Children: As a young mother, I thought it was my role in life to teach my son all about life. And then I discovered that he was teaching me, for "life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday." ~ Gibran
Circumstances: Don't let your circumstances become a ball and chain around your ankle. Begin immediately to think more positively and you will break the ball and chain of your current sense of limitation. You will foster a bettered reality.
Debt: Good debt today can become passive income in the future. Some debt can be fun to acquire, but hard to retire.
Error: Even when everybody believes an error is truth, that doesn't make it true. And even when nobody sees the truth, does that turn truth into an error. It is what it is.
Fear: Whatever you entertain most in your mind, you will manifest. It's your choice: dreams or fears.
Good: A wonderful African proverb is this - All truth is good, but not all truth is good to say. Some people aren't able to handle complete truth.
Happiness: If you can synchronize everything you think, every word you say, and every action you take harmoniously, then you have happiness. And remember this: the happiest people give more than they receive.
Inspiration: At the height of creativity is that state of mind where both the heart and the mind connect through inspiration.
Where's the rest of the alphabet? That's my birthday gift to you. You can print it out and hang it up in your home or office to inspire you to Be the Change through the coming months. Just follow this URL: http://tinyurl.com/2do6gu8
