Relationships are not that easy and sometimes it can be hard to disce
whether the relationship you're in is toxic or not. In case you are in a bad relationship, there's a possibility you're struggling to see your partner. It's common to get cleared up in a connection and miss the warning signs or to write things off as usual, but it's so imperative not to get stuck in an unhealthy relationship. Toxicity comes in all structures: ridiculing, lying, physical maltreatment, gossip and all the inner strife that results from being in an awkward relationship. Regardless of whether it is an individual relationship involving a relative, lover, friend, or a professional relationship including a colleague or a supervisor, a toxic relationship can harm and leave a long-lasting impact for the individual involved in one.
To enable you to make sense if your relationship is healthy, or needs to be ditched, consider these red flags that might recommend your partner is not good for you. If a couple of these apply to your relationship, don't blow a gasket: these are just warning signs, which imply the issues can be settled with an open and honest discussion. In any case, a few rings true for you, it may be an ideal opportunity to call it quits.
- They make you feel awful about yourself. You are rightful to date someone who treats you like the goddess you are, period. On the off chance that your partner needs you to change (by dressing differently, brushing off your friends, or drinking and partying when that is not your scene) that is a sign they don't really like you for you, and you deserve someone much better.
- They don’t listen to you. If your partner never focuses when you talk to them, what's the purpose of dating? They don't have to recall your discussions in precisely the same words, but they should put their phone down for a second, listen to your, and offer keen input. That goes twofold when you’re stress or upset. Yes, their eyes might glance over when you’re obsessing over Justin Bieber or Taylor Swift for the hundredth time, but anyone who is worth your time should take a genuine interest in you and your life.
- They don’t support your goals. Maybe you talk about your dreams of managing your own company one day, and they laugh you off, and they don't believe you can do it. Or on the other hand, you ask them to run flashcards before your big test, and they say no. That is not good. Over the long haul, you’ll be most joyful and successful with somebody who has absolute confidence in your abilities by your side. If your partner is always putting down your goals, they might be shaky about their future. That is a valid reason for them to cut you down. Whoever you date ought to believe in you and support your dreams and ambitions.
