Release, Cleanse & Clear...
What things do you need to release in your life?
We may have old ideas that need to be shifted and released. We may have clutter that is piled high in a corner or weight that is clinging to our body. Maybe it is a role that we have 'played' for many years that no longer fits who we are or who we want to be. It is important to take time to reflect on our lives and determine what areas are working for us and what is holding us back from living our best life. If it doesn't feel fabulous then it is time to release, cleanse and clear so that you can live your most vibrant life!
Everything in our lives either lifts our energy or drains us. We either feel supported by our homes, our bodies, the people in our lives, the roles we identify with and the constant thoughts that run on replay through our minds, or these areas can make us feel depleted. Assessing your life and becoming consciously aware of how the different areas make you feel is the first step in living the vibrantly fulfilled life that you deserve.
Begin by taking a walk around your home. Do you love everything you see? Does your home make you feel nurtured and supported or are you looking around thinking about your to-do list? If you are thinking about all of the must do's then it is time to take out that pen and paper and begin making a list of things you no longer need or love that you could clear, cleanse and release that would help to make your nest a sanctuary for your soul. Once your list has been created than begin taking steps to clear the items which will improve your surroundings. Notice how you feel as each item is removed. Do you feel lighter? Does your energy lift?
The words "you treat your body like a temple, I treat mine like a tent" are from a Jimmy Buffet song and they have always made me stop and think (I know, hard to believe someone would be thinking of deep thoughts instead of enjoying a margarita while listening to Jimmy Buffet). Seriously, this is such a great metaphor for how we treat our beautiful bodies. Take a moment to consider whether you treat your body like a temple or a tent? Is it time to release extra weight that is clinging to your body and brings down your energy physically and emotionally? Begin to give your body wonderful Superfoods that will promote great health and help fight disease. Take the time out of your busy schedule to move your body. Maybe this is the time to incorporate a cleanse to literally release and clear the toxins that have built up in your system and do not allow it to run optimally. Begin to examine what habits you can release, cleanse and clear that would turn your body into a vibrantly healthy temple.
Sometimes the identity roles we 'carry' are outdated. They don't match who we are or who we want to become. These roles can feel very constraining and heavy. Take a moment to examine the different identity roles you and others project on you. Do they still fit or have you outgrown them? Noticing is the first step in opening our awareness around roles that can be burdensome. Once you have identified them, "Try them on for size". Are they still a good fit? Maybe you have a role that needs to be released.
As your day unfolds, begin to assess the different areas in your life and notice whether they support you or drain your energy. Take the time to release, cleanse and clear all aspects of your life that have become stagnant and create dis-ease. It is amazing that when you begin to shift one area of your life all areas transform. Release what no longer supports you to lift your energy and spirit and so you can create your Home in Harmony Lifestyle.
