Do you remember how a car runs when the brakes are on? Do you push harder on the gas to overcome the drag of the brake? That is how most people run their lives. But you simply release the brake and with no extra effort you start to go faster.
People drive through life with their psychological emergency brake on. The keep the negative images about themselves or suffer of experiences they have never released. In other words they stay in their comfort zone, which are based on the beliefs the hold in their subconscious mind.
And as we know that these beliefs are inherited beliefs we got before we were 6 years old. They maintain inaccurate beliefs about reality combined with guilt and self-doubt. And when they try to achieve their goals, the negative images and their comfort zone cancel their good intentions – no matter how hard they try.
You can release your brakes by letting go your limiting beliefs and changing your self-images.
Comfort zones are like prisons – a largely self-created prison. We all have heard the can´ts, musts, must nots which trained us to limiting beliefs.
You can use affirmations and positive self-talk to affirm already having what you want, doing what you want and being the way you want.
Create powerful and compelling new internal images of having, doing and being what you want. This way you simply change your behavior.
These approaches will shift you out of your old comfort zone.
Most important today is that the old answers and rules do not function any more. Please stop creating the same experience over and over!
