How many of us procrastinate? How many of us don’t fill our day with the actions and activity that is needed to ensure that success in our home based franchise will come our way each day? On a more personal note, how many of us don’t take the time to even say I love you to those that we truly do love and care about?

What Og Mandino’s important message is teaching is that you must live today for today. Forget about yesterday...what is done is done. If you didn’t like the results of yesterday, learn from them and take that knowledge and move on to a great today.

Don’t worry about tomorrow. Guess what...the things that you are worrying about may never actually happen. All you have is today so use it fully and wisely.
Each new day holds the opportunity for realizing the greatness in our lives, and in our home based franchise. We need to take the action each day to make our greatness happen.

Each new day holds an incredible opportunity for us and when the day is it is done, that opportunity is also gone. Don’t waste that opportunity on procrastination. Don’t think to yourself…well there is always tomorrow to get the article written, produce a video, or add a new ad group to my PPC campaign. Take your action today…and think about tomorrow when it is actually our new today.

What I love about this lesson is that it is almost like the carrot dangling in front of your nose. If you set out to make the day you are in the best that you have ever lived...and you live your life by always making each day the best, how quickly do you think that you would see your goals accomplished, your wealth built and your success in your home based franchise be made? You are building each day to do better, to be better, and to take more action than the day before. I love it!!

So, decide today that you are going to use each and every minute to your advantage. Decide today that you are going to fill your day with the activity that is going to lead you to where you want your life to go.

Change the bad habit, the disease of procrastination and don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today. Then, when your day is done...congratulate yourself for a day well lived and make plans to make tomorrow even better. See where you and your home based franchise are in 30 days. I think that I will see you at the top.

Back in the late 1980’s, the Honda Motor Company ran a memorable series of commercials, the basic premise of which was that the company’s cars were so amazing, they sold themselves. This commercial’s “hook” was that it featured a salesman who was bored out of his mind and had nothing to do because the cars were so in demand they were practically walking off the lot. The brand’s slogan at the time was “Honda, the car that sells itself.” Ha!

Excerpt from the book "Chase the Championship - Kicking Ass, Taking Names and Becoming a Dealmaker!" Stay far away from the boss’s underlings when you are in search of a decision. The heads of Marketing, IT, Human Resources, or whoever else is part of the “decision-making chain” for the product or service that you are selling should never be the people that you go after for a commitment.
