If your life span is 80 years from birth to death, you have approximately 2,522,880,000 seconds to live. Since you started reading this paragraph, you have used up about 20 of them. If you go back and check how long it took you to read the paragraph you will use up another 20. Tonight, you will spend 86,400 of your precious seconds asleep. In fact, assuming you sleep 8 hours a night, you will be unconscious for 1/3 of your life. The clock is ticking. When you reach the end of your time death is waiting for you. That is a certainty. Which do you fear most, living or dying?

Tick, tick, tick….

Two years ago, one of my great friends Martin was taken suddenly from this life – a young man with his whole life in front of him – it was hard to believe this could happen. As the months passed and the pain reduced over time, you appreciated the true impermanence of our existence – without doubt the only relevant mantra was “here today, gone today…live life now.”

As a motivational speaker that has travelled the world over the past two decades, not surprisingly based on life experience, my most important advice has never changed…..Take action now!

In addition to the joy of truly engaging in the jou
ey of life, for many taking that first step results in a feeling of casting a huge weight off their shoulders. This new “weighlessness” will convert into a more positive presence in all relationships inside and outside corporate corridors.

I’ll share with you that when I first started in business the image of a leader that I brought with me was an authority figure who has the power to hurt those that are following them. This was because I was so used to being around authority figures who were coming from a place of leading through fear (I came out of the very toxic public school system). I knew I didn’t want that in my business.

We all know that smiles are contagious. So are bad moods. Experts in the field of psychic energy say it's that energy – not the actual smile -- that connects you to the good mood of the other person. Now there are a lot of people that DON’T believe, but there is a growing percentage that believe ...

Many of my clients share that one of their biggest marketing challenges is actually connecting with enough prospects. They are doing all of this great work in their businesses, but not very many people know about their work; or at least not enough for the flow of business to be moving smoothly and easily. Stop. Start. Stop. Start. Sound familiar? There isn't one perfect way to consistently connect with prospects, but there are many ways that, when used collaboratively, will build you a nice stream of people who are interested in what you do.
