Solar and Lunar Eclipses Suggest an Impending Apocalypse this Spring

“The sun shall be darkened and the moon turned to blood before the day of the Lord,” Joel 2:31.

The Bible says we “know the times and seasons perfectly,” 1Thessalonians 5:1.
This suggests we should at least know the year for when "the day of the Lord" comes with “sudden destruction,” verse 2.

God designated the beginning of the biblical year in Exodus 12:2. It seems He is marking a parallel time this year by an eclipse on March 20? Two weeks later in Egypt, they put blood on the doorpost and there will be a blood moon two weeks later this spring. Judgment fell on Passover in Egypt; will it fall on us this spring?

America has a dozen parallels with Egypt, including the murdering of infants/unborn. Billy Graham said God should apologize to Sodom if He waits longer.

The Bible also says “Judgment must begin at the house of God,” 1Peter 4:17. We overlook His having two houses. The first for judgment may be Judah which represents Jews and Jerusalem.

“The day of the Lord is coming... I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; the city shall be taken, the houses rifled...half of the city shall go into captivity,” Zechariah 14:1,2.. And additional sign may be a peace treaty that the US has pressured Israel to sign.

“When they say, 'Peace and safety,' sudden destruction comes upon them,” 1Thess 5:2,3. Some pastors say the church is like Israel and the US will get judgment for “parting My land.” Joel 3:2. A peace accord should be a “heads up” sign if Kerry somehow puts pressure on Israel to get an agreement.

Trouble in Jerusalem then would be a sign of judgment in the US a month later because Christ's saying, “as the days of Noah,” when the Flood came with Passover timing, but in the second spring month. It was Passover timing because Noah entered the ark on the 10th day, the same day the sacrifice was selected in Exodus 12:3.

To avoid judgment, if I were a Jew living in Jerusalem, I would visit another city for Passover. And to avoid destruction in this country, it would be well if Christians would “watch [be awake] and pray on Sunday night, May 3, even as Christ asked His followers in Matthew 26:38-41.

This goes against a conventional view that “You don't know the day or hour,” but the Greek word for “know” is oida, and it means to be aware, consider or understand. Christ was saying you don't understand and each time He said it, He gave examples like “the days of Noah” or “as a man traveling to a far country” that provided for a late Passover if they couldn't get back for the first one, Numbers 9:10,11.

Christ was the Master who would be taking the far journey, and His return in judgment must conform to the law that He said is in effect “till heaven and earth pass,” Matthew 5:18.
