Spiritual Power

And when the day of Pentecoast was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the houses where they were sitting.......... And they were filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. ( Acts 2: 1-4)

HOW WOULD YOU LIFE BE DIFFERENT IF YOU EXPERIENCED what the 120 disciples experienced on the day of Pentecoast? The Holy Spirit was poured out upon them, and they were filled or intoxicated with the Spirit. The fact that they were accused of being drunk with wine emphasizes that when the Holy Spirit fills your life. He will affect your entire being, your speech, your judgement, your vision, your hearing, and your actions. You will be consumed with His character and reflect God in your actions.

There is a difference between who the Holy Spirit is and what He does. What He does is not who He is. He is person, more than a mere presence. His presence is the tangible indication that His Person is in your midst. It is what we call "the anointing"

You need the Holy Ghost's power to survive as well as thrive! Power to live as God instructs you to live. Power to cast out devils. Power to overcome sin in the middle of a troubled world, in the midst of perilous times. You cannot fight the devil on your own. Receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost is a fundamental step in your spiritual walk to live victoriously.

Spiritual warfare is part of our Christian life. The devil is the master deceiver, thief, murderer, and the force behind all evil. He is like a roaring lion roaming to and fro, seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8-9). He is at war with every person who names the name of Christ.

However, too many of us try to fight our battles in the flesh. Ephesians 6:10-11 tells us to "be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. " You cannot make it on your own strength. Although God has already defeated the devil at the cross, you must go to war and win the victories in your spiritual life with the weapons God has given us to overcome.

You will face a battle along this great jou
ey in life. Don't let the enemy take advantage of you! You need to stand up and walk through every storm. Put Satan in his place, Jesus never intended for you to bow to the devil. When facing your enemy, you cannot just ask him to leave you alone; demand that he return what he has taken from you. By the power of the Holy Spirit, you have the awesome authority over demonic forces and influences. "For the weapons of our warfare are not canal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds" (2 Corinthians 10:4).

Declare what God has given you in His Word and see Him do the impossible. He still performs miracles and is ready to bring you abundance, health, healing, victory, joy, peace, security, and defeat over the enemy in your life.

STAND ON GOD'S PROMISES, THEY NEVER FAIL!
