Staying Positive in a Negative Situation

So you’ve made the decision to be more positive and upbeat in your life as a step to feeling happier and maybe achieving some goals you’ve set. And it’s all going really well, until you step into an environment, perhaps your job, your family situation or some other experience, that is full of negativity. What do you do then?

The first thing to look at is what makes the environment negative. If we look at it from our own perspective which is how we look at all of life, then our perspective (or judgment) is what makes it negative.

It is what it is, no if’s ands or buts. It is our perception, which is based on our belief system that creates positive and negative judgment. And when what is happening doesn’t meet with our belief system we find it difficult to accept what is happening.

Another person might look at the same situation and see no negativity whatsoever about it. Again, it is their perception that creates this judgment.

So how do we function positively in a negative environment? We can look at what the experience is showing us about ourselves. We can examine what the belief is that creates the negative perception and we can shift that belief to a more positive one.

We can think positively all we want, but if there are still negative beliefs hanging about inside us, we will never convince ourselves of anything different.

Review the belief, question if it still holds true for you, or even why you need it so much. Does it serve you now? If it’s no longer valid, remove it from your repertoire. Allow it to fall away.

You’ll be surprised at how the negative environment will change. (Or is it you that changed?)

May all your experiences be perceived as positive

When we first discover the Law of Attraction and the power we have to attract what we want, we often expect instantaneous results. Results are rarely instantaneous. This isn’t because God/Source/All-That-Is cannot deliver because once we ask; it is given – every time…without question! It is because we live in this time-space reality that allows for a “buffer of time” while we get ourselves into alignment with what we desire!

I know what you’re all thinking. “What did she say? Is she serious?” As a matter of fact, I am very serious. Spring has sprung, and in this season of rebirth and regeneration, why not take advantage of what Nature has to offer? We all know that being out in Nature has a calming effect. Nature is abundant with Universal Life Force Energy. It is this very energy from which we are all made. When we feel stressed, lethargic or just out of sorts, drawing in more of this Life Force Energy has a balancing and healing effect.
