Stop Being So Selfish!

I listen to people telling me day in and day out about how they only want to make the money they need…

And I see from their demeanour that they think that that makes them in some way, holier than everyone else out there who is out to grab everything they can get - or so they think…

And I just smile at them and wonder how they cannot see just how selfish they are being!

I talk about them, Leader because surely, you are not like them…

Yep, from the blush rising on your face, you have been one of them, haven’t you?

You have selfishly thought that it was okay for you to just get what you need and to think that you were being selfless and un-greedy etc etc…

You have had conversations with friends even telling them about how all those people out there, pushing and shoving and grabbing all they can get, must just be full of greed and selfishness…

I know you have done it because I too, used to do such silly things…

And I felt holy about it as well!

So, honey, I know!

But then I saw the light!

I suddenly realised just how selfish I was being…

To only get what I need!

TO ONLY GET WHAT I NEED!

How limiting is that!

And here I am, wanting to sponsor 2000 compassion children…

How can I do that if I only get what my family and I need?

I want to travel and speak to people who cannot afford for me to come…

How can I do that if I only make enough money for my family to get by?

So many dreams and visions…

How will any of them happen?

And yes, I want to live in complete luxury with no conce ever about how much money I am spending…

How will that become a reality if I only get what I need?

What absolute nonsense!

And yes, I know that you think my last desire there to live in luxury is exactly why you think it is selfish to get more than you need but really…

Do you believe in abundance or not?

Or are you still holding on to a belief that says that for you to have more then others must have less?

Can you still not see how crazy that idea is?

Really?!

You tell me about all your spiritual beliefs and how your God is all powerful and more than able to supply all your needs…

You tell me about the fact that you are born to live in abundance and then…

THEN you choose to live in lack and build your whole belief system around LACK!

How does that make any sense whatsoever?!

Lets be honest, what do you really believe?

REALLY?!

Leader, please stop being selfish choosing to create only the wealth you need!

It limits you from doing the work you are born to do because you will just not push yourself to serve more people…

Because whether you like it or not, the more people you serve, the more money you make…

It limits you from supporting the people you want to support because again, all you have is enough for you and yours and unless you are planning to starve your own family (which some silly, but well meaning people, do), then you cannot support anyone else…

How is that an unselfish thing to do?

When you have so much potential inside of you waiting to be unleashed!

I mean, it is understandable when people of lesser quality than you hold back because they have nothing left to give (I don’t really believe that anyone has nothing to give but you know, they tell themselves that so that they do not have to actually give…)

But you!

YOU are born to be powerful…

To change lives…

To impact the world in crazy amazing ways…

And you are telling me about only making what you need!

Stop being so selfish, will ya?
