“I promise you nothing is as chaotic as it seems. Nothing is worth diminishing your health. Nothing is worth poisoning yourself into stress, anxiety, and fear.” ~ Steve Maraboli
Do you welcome success in your life? A healthy, positive, optimistic mindset does more than just boost your mood. A truly positive and self-affirming perspective allows success to be felt more fully.
There are many ways to welcome and embrace a success-positive attitude:
Mindfulness. Connecting with the moment, aligning your thoughts with positive energy, and don’t allowing others to discourage you from how you want to feel and what you want to pursue. Allow yourself to believe in the idea that everything you need is available to you.
Establish your intent. What do you want your actions and behavior to bring you? You’ll experience more success if you take a moment before you do things to conceptualize the good that each action can bring.
Expect it to happen. Expectation is a wonderful tool when you want to enjoy accomplishment and success. It’s another name for hope, and it helps you bring your desires into full manifestation. Since what you think is what you get, having low expectations or high expectations is all up to you.
Gratitude without guilt. You receive the things you want and need in life because you want and need them. You take action to receive these gifts. You deserve success as much as anyone else. Your acceptance of what you want and need does not rob anyone else of what they want and need. There is plenty for all.
Remember that emotions are guides. If you feel good, you’re doing well. If you feel a negative emotion, you might need to reassess the direction you are going. Maybe it’s time to choose a different path?
Visualize what you want. What does it look like, and how do you want to feel when you receive it? Live with hope that your dreams are within reach, and that you are capable of manifesting them. Act with the belief that the world is a generous place.
Identify ways to serve others. A generous spirit helps to feed a sense of abundance. A key element of being in service is that you don’t expect to receive anything in return. Being of service is a practical form of loving others just for the sake of the loving. Being of service out of a true sense of gratitude for the good in your life.
Set goals. Break them down into small pieces. Set times for their accomplishment. Henry Thoreau said “What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.”
Use Positive Affirmations. Your self-talk is very powerful. Whether it is positive or negative, you are continually re-impressing your mind. High self-esteem will get you to success more quickly, so use positive affirmations to boost your self-esteem.
These powerful ways of viewing the world and approaching your daily life are transformative. Developing a talent for tackling every challenge with courage and optimism is in the repertoire of many successful people. The best part is that you are the only person who can decide what success should look like in your life.
“Whatever you want in life, other people are going to want it too. Believe in yourself enough to accept the idea that you have an equal right to it.” ~ Diane Sawyer
