The Supermoon in Scorpio May 5, 2012 is tonight at 11:36 EDT where the full moon is closest to Mother Earth. This moon is 14% larger and 30% brighter than most full moons. Some are calling this the "Super Duper Moon."
This Supermoon in Scorpio is intensely transformative. The moon rules emotions. Scorpio is about transformation. The Sun is about where we are going. The Sun is now in Taurus.
Since Scorpio and Taurus are both fixed signs, this full moon, Supermoon in Scorpio can be a challenging for many of us. We are called upon to balance two opposing energies.
Taurus is hardworking and resourceful. Scorpio is intensely passionate. Both think that their way is the right way and the only way. Are we willing and able to see the other person's viewpoint? Can we find the middle ground?

In September 1992 Maureen received her first degree Reiki training. After years of practicing Reiki healing in small groups, workshops, centers, and retreats throughout the United States, Maureen received her second degree Reiki and Reiki Master Degree in August 1999.
