Ok, so we are going to go over taking CBD products, oil or even CBD flower and a consumption device with you to travel in the U.S. There is a lot of misconceptions on this as some states still consider CBD to be a cannabis product and you can get in trouble taking CBD oil into those states. Now lets cover where you can take your CBD oil or products and your tool to consume it. Now of course you can take CBD oil into Califo ia, Nevada, Oregon, Washington state, Colorado, Massachusetts, Michigan, Vermont, Maine, Arizona and any other state that has medical cannabis or recreational cannabis. Now there is an exception to this in Ohio, the Ohio Board of Pharmacy ruled that any CBD products not sold in dispensaries licensed by the state's program are illegal. So beware of taking any products into Ohio till they have some stores open. Now to review, recreational marijuana remains illegal in the states of Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Ohio and Rhode Island. But all have decriminalized the drug so you will only get a fine, no record and no jail time for small amounts. With your CBD products you can also take your preferred way to consume it as well, being if it is a pipe, bong, vaporizer unit, vape pen or even edibles. Now you still have to be careful with flower and used bongs or pipes as they can smell just like THC cannabis and cloud get you searched and or kicked off a flight as they have no way of telling if the cannabis is non THC or not. So we would not recommend you take a used device or flower with you and just buy a throw away device at your destination. Now for CBD oil, this too can possibly get you in some bit of trouble as a lady had found out when going to Disney World and got arrested for having CBD products in her purse. It was also found the CBD oil did have THC in it, but CBD is illegal in the state of Florida. Not somewhere you want to go with CBD products. She was booked on third-degree felony charges of possession of hashish, according to the affidavit. So CBD is not leagl in many states still and lets go over which ones you don't want to go to with any CBD or cannabis products. Although many states that have legalized some or all forms of marijuana, federally the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration continues to classify CBD as a Schedule I drug. They say it has no medical value (yeah right) so CBD is classified just the same as heroin. Now here are a few more states with strict CBD laws on the books. In Alabama the only access to legal CBD is either by being part of a state-sponsored clinical trial, debilitating medical condition. In the mid west state and one of the worst states to get busted with cannabis, Kentucky has laws that allow for state sponsored cultivation of hemp only, which then can be used to make CBD oil. In Indiana they can sell CBD oil and products in a retail store, possess and and consume it, only if it has no more than 0.3% THC content in it. Now in Kansas they allow adults to legally purchase and possess CBD products as long as they contain 0% THC. Now in Georgia the CBD oil can legally be prescribed to patients with certain medical conditions like cancer, MS, Parkinson's disease and seizure like disorders. Iowa allows very limited amounts of CBD oil for patients that are suffering from several medical conditions. HIV/AIDS, cancer, ALS and seizures. The caveat to this law is the CBD oil can only be used in creams, capsules. So on to Mississippi, South Carolina, Texas and Tennesseewhere it is legal for patients with severe epilepsy to use products high in CBD but cannot contai THC,and must be done by a licensed physician. So as you can see the laws very greatly as where you can travel with your CBD oil or products and can get very confusing to say the least. So be sure to check the states laws that your wanting to travel to and make sure you wont be getting yourself into a lot of trouble. Have safe travels and enjoy your holidays.
