A Mom’s Story
“By the time my son turned 4 years old, he had been in and out of the emergency room at least 2 times per month. His asthma’s getting worse.” These were the words of a mom whose 4-year-old son was born asthmatic. “I can’t event let him go outside and play with the other kids for fear of anther attack.”
For this mom, going to work was becoming impossible because of the severity of her son’s asthma. She was losing sleep and her marriage was stressed. Twenty-four hours a day she worried. She was becoming very familiar with her doctor’s office, the pharmacist and the ER. Fear was commonplace in her household.
A coworker suggested that acupuncture might be able to help with her stress and maybe even help her son’s asthma.
After a lot of thought and prayer, she decided to give it a shot and make the call. The first appointment involved an extensive evaluation of the situation. Then, a specialized acupressure technique was recommended for her son to help improve blood and oxygen flow to the cells to build the immune system and help reduce the allergic reactions that were causing the attacks.
A few months later his attacks lessened, his energy improved and the dark circles under his eyes started to disappear. By the time he started school, he was able to play outside without shortness of breath. His mom also started to feel better since the stress was reducing and her own course of acupuncture was enhancing her health.
This is just one of many examples of health restoration that millions have experienced world wide using Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. It is no wonder that this 3500-year-old practice is becoming the preferred choice for natural healthcare.

Made in the Shade
Last year, my wife and I moved to Boise, Idaho, also known as the city of trees. The name Boise comes from the French word boisé, which means "wooded" or "forest-covered", and compared to the desert landscape to the south and west, the name Boise is very appropriate. A few days ago, on a hot, ...
