Tell Your Grown Kids to Take One Step Back

Why do we have so many grown kids nowadays, that never seem to realize that all because they grew up, that we parents wish to have a life that's worth living! Why is that our grown kids most always assume that we have nothing to do with our lives but sit around and wait for them to call and ask us to babysit! And why is it that whenever we make plans for vacations, weekend getaways, or just some nice peaceful stroll around the park, That our grown kids think we would have more fun if they came along.n I have news for you grown kids out there we don't like it when you tag along on our vacations, or any other entertainment that we planned! You see although we make the most of it, and we make sure everyone has fun, but we really can't do the things we came there for. nNow I'm going to tell you what it's like, you see grown kids imagine going to see your favorite singing star in concert, 15 minutes before the show started they announce over the load speakers, that your favorite singer has come down with the flu and is being hospitalized, Although you enjoy the rest of the bands, but it's still not quite the same as what you came for. This is the feeling we get when we plan a getaway and you show up with our lovely grandchildren asking for a babysitter right now. And you know we planned on going away that weekend, I don't know where you grown kids got that from I mean the amount of times my mother babysat for me could be counted on one hand, she only babysat when she ask for them, I would have never had the nerve to ask my parents to take my kids on their vacations! And why is it that every time we plan any getaway you grown kids always try to find a way for us to take you or your kids? OH yea and we hate it when you come on vacation with us with no money, and we really hate it when you grown kids find a way to share our hotel room with us, I mean we never see it coming, everytime we share a hotel room with our Grown Kids and grandchildren it is always a big surprise, it's like we don't know how it happened, from a romantic weekend away, to a weekend of babysitting.
