Do you know that there is something that you are doing (without even being aware) and it’s the reason you haven’t attracted Mr. Right yet? Don’t feel bad. I was doing the same thing until I realized it was hindering me from attracting Mr. Right.
On my journey to attracting Mr. Right, I would go to various places with my girlfriends and I would be surrounded by single men. They would look my way, smile, but none of them would seem to approach me.
After this happened to me more than once, I started to think if something was wrong with me. I started to ask myself all sorts of questions.
“Was I unattractive?”
“Am I wearing the wrong outfit?”
“Did my hair look ok?”
And the truth was that there wasn’t anything wrong with my physical appearance. I looked drop dead gorgeous from head to toe and my outfit complimented my figure.
The mistake that I was making was on a subconscious level. Deep dow
I really didn’t want to be bothered. I personally felt that these men would walk up to me, ask can they buy me a drink only to find out hours later that I wasn’t interested in them. I didn’t want to waste my time or theirs.
That was a huge aha moment for me. Subconsciously I was saying that I didn’t want to be bothered and my body language represented what I thought.
When men would look my way I would smile but it was a smile that said, “Hi, don’t bother me.” I would cross my arms while sitting at the table with my friends. When it was time to hit the dance floor I would dance by myself or sit down at my table.
Personally, if I was a single man I wouldn’t have approached me either.
Through this experience I have learned one important lesson in attracting Mr. Right.
BE APPROACHABLE.
