You think it is the lack of sales - No, this is a symptom…

You think it is the lack of a great strategy - So, you go looking for the best-est tip/trick/technique you can find and that is such a time suck because it keeps you from actually doing the work…

You think it is your fear that holds you back and so you navel gaze yourself to death as you try to figure out why you are so afraid! This just makes your fear grow…

You think it is lack of capital - there are always ways around this…

You think it is that no one wants what you have and that you just need to retreat and hide away until you figure out your whole business with the perfect business plan and completely complete autoresponder series that shows people your whole product suite… And so you waste irreplaceable time perfecting what you are not even sure, is broken.

And all of these things are definitely part of the problem.

But they are not the biggest problem.

Oh no, not at all.

You do know what your big problem is but you are not giving it the attention it deserves while you do all the above that normal entrepreneurs do…

Your big problem is the fact that you are invisible, no one knows who you are, OBSCURITY.

And instead of firstly tackling this problem, you are doing everything but…

And so, no matter how many products you create…

No matter how many people’s business models you copy…

No matter how much time you spend affirming that you are confident, brave and ‘money flows freely to you for your good and the good of everyone conce ed’…

No matter how much time you spend perfecting your logo, thinking up the most eye-catching name and the designing the backend of your business…

Still no one knows you.

And so they do not sign up to your mailing list…

And they do not buy from you…

And everything feels a struggle.

Increasing your audience size has to become THE most important thing you do every day!

And this is more than just sticking a sales pitch Facebook post in every group you can think of. Everyone does that and most people do not get any attention.

You have to go deeper than that.

Much deeper than that.

You are not a copy of anyone else and so why do you think that your successful business is going to be the copy of anyone else’s? You can do exactly what you see the most successful person in your marketplace do and STILL not have much more than an expensive hobby and why?

Because you are not really showing up.

You are still hiding.

You are doing ONLY what the ‘norms’ do and so you get what most ‘norms’ get - NOT MUCH!

And if that is all you want, then fine…

Keep hiding behind your excuses of being afraid, of not knowing what to do, of needing to perfect everything and all that jazz…

OR you can man up and really show who you are to the world and call in your people!

Yes, you can learn the foundational marketing techniques and of course, yuo definitely apply them but DON’T STOP THERE…

Add ‘you’ to the mix.

You with your crazy ideas, thoughts…

You with your likes, dislikes…

YOU!

It will feel tough to start with as you are so used to hiding but if you want to make a difference and increase your income, you know that you have to.

EVERYDAY, you create content that calls your people in.

And please, it cannot only be the boring, ‘useful’ stuff that you think will make you look good and ia a bore to even put together - Speak from the heart as well. Let YOUR PEOPLE hear you - Let it be a heart to heart connection because people act on emotion.

You may think that people buy from you based on logic and they will even tell you that that is why they buy but do not believe it! That is SOOOO not the truth.

People buy first on emotion and then they rationalise it with logic.

So, show your heart & your personality in your content, in your marketing - Entertain, inspire and also educate.

And be prepared to do the work of showing up every single day, numerous times a day in different ways, doing different things and all the while, stretching yourself out of your comfort zone as you build an audience of people who want to know what you are up to next and where they can buy from you.

Look around you… There are numerous people with grand ideas of being in business, of selling their music, books, products, ministry and there is room for everyone, for sure…

But there is also so much distraction and your people, the ones you are called to serve, are being distracted.

They cannot hear you or see you in the middle of all the craziness.

Ao, stop assuming that they know where you are or even who you are.

Make it easier for them.

SHOW UP POWERFULLY…

SHOW UP FREQUENTLY…

Start now.

Fight for, deliberately design the life you want.

Many of my clients share that one of their biggest marketing challenges is actually connecting with enough prospects. They are doing all of this great work in their businesses, but not very many people know about their work; or at least not enough for the flow of business to be moving smoothly and easily. Stop. Start. Stop. Start. Sound familiar? There isn't one perfect way to consistently connect with prospects, but there are many ways that, when used collaboratively, will build you a nice stream of people who are interested in what you do.
