Without strong leaders, the world has become ï¬lled to overï¬owing with fundamentally good and honest people who have become addicted to the demands of a self-centered lifestyle that is focused on acquiring the things and experiences that (so they are told) will enable them to enjoy life. But the strategy is not working: good and honest people cannot bank on leaders or truly enjoy a lifestyle that ignores and/or omits the fundamentals:

1. In the physical aspect: Order.
2. In the intellectual aspect: Loyalty.
3. In the spiritual aspect: Truth.

In reaction, the classic story of man’s fall into selï¬shness and greed is gaining new momentum now... So much so, that its message is being reiterated and retranslated with new strength and purpose all over the world. Now: “I deserve to enjoy more” and “I am entitled to live this way” is being replaced by: “A life of integrity, character and decency is what really counts,” and those who wish to live in a more civilized world are becoming subscribers.

“Irresponsible and selï¬sh behavior is no longer acceptable” to those more sincere citizens of the world who are working to ï¬nd “core values.” Now the world’s leading citizens are working to expose those who are in blatant deï¬ance of moral law. Those who are trying to conceal their misdeeds are being banished, while those who are acting in open deï¬ance of their moral and ethical obligations are being openly and routinely sentenced to death.
And all of these events are inexorably leading to absolution: the end of those philosophies and political systems that reward abject selï¬shness, while they encourage preferential treatment in deï¬ance of the law. Finally, those rebels against civilized justice who can't or won't see the light, are being revealed for who they truly are, and are being sho
of their power to steal the future.

As a prospective world leader, you can beneï¬t by thinking about what is likely to happen to your customers or constituents in the course of these events, and making it your business to become more actively involved. That will make the events easier to manage, while it will give you a better sense of the kind of help you can provide as the transition follows its logical path.

Remember: what people most fear is the prospect of being dominated. Most people so fear to be captured and held by anyone, that when a strong and moving philosophy or higher purpose threatens to dominate them, they will invariably try to rationalize, over-organize, traditionalize, institutionalize and control it... You must be patient... You must work to understand their fears.

This time, you are being asked to become one of a whole new generation of world leaders. You are being asked to go about the business of supplying the leadership and inspiration for: not just religion – but for the complete social, moral, economic and political reorganization of the world.
Keep in mind: there is no difference between a decision that you make, and a decision that would be made by any other far-sighted and ethical leader. The only criterion for your decision-making is in the value of its consequences. You must ask: will the decision that you make now, do what is truly best, for the largest number of people, over the longest possible period of time?

True leaders have something much more than their accredited counterparts: they have that essential grounding in practical faith that has been inculcated in them as an integral part of their early training in a good home. Physical strength and intelligence are indeed valuable assets in life, but there is no substitute for the kind of home-based training that fosters living faith.

It is well known that an individual’s qualiï¬cations for true leadership: strength of character, balance of personality and inherent growth capacity depend, and are almost entirely derived from, spending at least the ï¬rst eight years of their life in a good home -- a home that is led by a strong and loving father.

One summer while I was on vacation from college I became a tin man: selling aluminum siding and roofing door to door in the Boston area. The business has a bad reputation but our siding and our roofs were the finest available. Our prices were high but fair. In spite of what consumers always want to believe, you can’t get the best without paying for it.
