The Goddess Tarot

By placing a multitude of goddesses into the deck instead of the classic Arcana, the readings you will receive are differently layered and can give you a great deal of information that you would not normally receive in a tarot reading. Also, the goddesses tend to represent their element or aspect in a much truer sense than the classic Ryder-Waite. For example, the “death” card, typically known as a terrifying card for those not familiar with tarot, is now represented by the Japanese Goddess Ukemochi. Ukemochi’s myth states that after her death, she becomes a source of food for starving humanity, representing true transformation, which is the traditional meaning of the death card.

The Major and Minor arcana are just as tightly woven together as any other tarot deck, and therefore ensure that each suit relates to a goddess and gives you the opportunity to really feel connected to the deck.
