I grew up in a haunted house. I lay awake many a night, watching dark figures walk around my bedroom. My well-meaning mother said, “When you’re dead, you’re asleep in the grave. Therefore, ghosts don’t exist, and you aren’t seeing anything.” I knew there was something wrong with that, because I was seeing something -- but what? That experience was the first of many that ultimately propelled me on a search to understand the “metaphysical”.
In 1987 I experienced a grand awakening. I knew I had created my reality and I didn’t like what I had created, so I asked for help. I got it! I began hearing a voice that downloaded technical, scientific information about the science of color. Because I knew nothing about science, it was necessary for me to do research to find out if the informatio
I was receiving was accurate; to my astonishment it was! I began using the color information, and my life changed dramatically for the better. The voice asked me to write a book about Colorology, and to go out and teach, which I did.
Despite all my queries, this voice would not identify itself, so I spent the next five years attempting to discover who or what was communicating with me. Through a long series of “coincidences” this search ultimately led me to what my partner, Parker Whitman, and I call “The Millennium Children” in our book by the same name. (Others call them “Children of the Blue Ray”, “Indigo Children” or “Star Children”.) This phenomenon is now being noticed by people all over the world. Actually, exceptional children have always appeared from time to time, but my research indicates that starting about 1987, their numbers began to increase rapidly.
I’ve traveled around this country for years talking to parents, grandparents, therapists, teachers and children of all ages, listening to stories and searching for answers. These kids are doing and saying some very remarkable things. They remember past lives and even being “between” lives. They tell of interaction with “extraterrestrials”. The stories I’ve heard often stretch my paradigm. For example: One therapist told me about a three year-old boy who one day said to his mother, “Remember that time you and Dad were on vacation in that cabin in the woods – before I was born – and saw a UFO?” Surprised, because she and her husband had never discussed the incident, Mom cautiously responded, “Yeah”. The boy replied, “That was me, coming to check you out to see if I wanted to come to you.” Ponder that for a moment. If one child can come up with something like that, how many others may have had similar experiences or memories – but never voiced them? What are the implications for humanity? What does such a story say about who we are and our “true” origins? The questions go on and on.
And the tales of reinca
ation -- I could fill a book with them alone. A friend of mine is the grandmother of five “Millennium Children”. One claims that she is the reinca
ation of my friend’s deceased mother, offering accurate details to substantiate her claim. Another says that he’s my friend’s brother, who was killed in a violent train/car accident – and relates graphic details of the accident he simply couldn’t know. If time is merely an illusion, a perception, an idea, as the sages (and, increasingly, theoretical physicists) tell us, then what exactly are these children describing?
Some of these kids are being born one or two months early – or late – yet are perfectly developed, as if the usual nine-month gestation had occurred. Some have “super strength”. Some are able to heal themselves – and others -- very quickly. Many are highly intelligent and are able to invent and/or repair things. Their “brains seem to work differently”, as one young boy explained to me. Some are able to run their battery-operated toys without batteries; some predict the future and read minds. Some have “imaginary friends”. Imaginary, or just invisible – to us? Some of the tales I’ve heard – as well as my own experience – make me wonder.
On October 1st of this year 2000, I will be celebrating 50 years on this planet. I’ve been studying metaphysics for thirty years and experiencing the metaphysical for forty. What I know is that the more I learn, the less I know. I have many more questions than answers.
I do know that these kids are the keys to our survival as a species. I believe these children (and those who came before them) are here as catalysts for profound changes in the human experience -- how we parent, how we heal (or medicate) ourselves and others, how we teach, how we think. I believe these children are here to assist us in our next evolutionary step; I call it “the Shift”. It’s an exciting time to be alive!

Telephone Call from Mama from the Spirit World.
My mother died suddenly October 20, 1987, at the age of 67 from a heart attack. Earlier that year she had told me about health problems she had experienced, and I told her that I believed she had suffered a heart attack and needed to see a medical doctor. “No,” she said, “They’ll just pick on my weight and I just don’t want to stop eating because it’s the only thing that makes me happy.” I knew that my mother was a very unhappy person, and I couldn’t argue with what she had stated. She had expressed for several years that she really wanted to die because she was so unhappy.

How To Become Aware Of Your Own Psychic Ability
Self awareness is the first step in becoming aware of your own psychic ability. This however means so much more than just acknowledging that you exist, or that 'it' exists. The first step then is to become aware, to notice 'on purpose' what things you already are feeling and sensing. To become aware of the unfamiliar,
