“You must define the one you would like to be… With this aim clearly defined, you must, throughout your conscious waking day, notice your every reaction in regard to this aim." - Neville Goddard

Notice that Neville says to define who you want to be in the world, and that he doesn't start with focusing on something on the outside, like a dollar figure, or by asking you what kind of house you want, like many other teachers do.

The reason why Neville has you focus on changing your concept of you first is because when you change who you are being in the world, your circumstances and your level of success and happiness change instantly.

The way you react to the world, determines how confident and how competent you are. They way you react to the world determines if you are going to make good decisions on a daily basis.
