Shopping for a new car is never easy. The price of purchasing a reliable vehicle has multiplied over the years and there are various factors that come into play when a driver arrives at a decision conce ing one of the most important purchases they will ever make. A car buyer must consider the car's history of accidents or lack thereof, the fuel efficiency of the vehicle, whether they will have access to repair services and other benefits from the dealership and so on. The list of factors that must come into consideration before deciding to purchase a car only expands when the drivers in question have children. Parents must balance variables such as cost and fuel efficiency while making safety one of their top priorities.
Advancements In Safety Technology Are More Popular Than Ever
When you are a parent you need a car that is designed specifically for you and the passengers that you love. Fortunately for car buyers who have growing families who must be shuttled between school, tennis practice and home, car manufacturers are recognizing this. Today's car manufacturers are creating automobiles that have the needs of parents in mind. The family vehicles that are currently on the market in 2019 have been upgraded with the latest advancements in safety technology. A wide variety of safety features have been integrated into new models that can ensure that drivers and their loved ones have safe commutes from home and back. Parents who are looking to replace vehicles that may no longer make sense for their current lifestyles now have many options to choose from.
Safety Is A Number One Conce For Drivers
In a global consumer survey conducted by a company that is known as Statista in 2018, 65% of respondents to the survey said that safety was the most important characteristic to them when deciding to purchase a new car. While there are many excellent family vehicles on the market today, there are four in particular that stand apart from the rest. These vehicles are the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder, the 2019 Honda CR-V, the 2019 Honda Pilot and the 2019 Tacoma Toyota truck.
Four Safe Family Vehicles To Consider
The Toyota Tacoma is an excellent purchase for consumers who are in the market for a new family car as well as a new truck. According to the publication US News the Toyota Tacoma's safety score was 9.1 out of 10. The newest model of the Tacoma also includes a suite of safety features that are known as the Toyota Safety Sense package which includes technology that detects pedestrians and a warning system to alert drivers when they are drifting out of their lanes.
The 2019 Honda Pilot is an excellent choice for families because it has three rows of seats making it spacious enough to seat up to 7 passengers. It also includes technology that will allow the car to monitor a driver's blindspots for them and features that can help prevent a driver from running off of the road.
Another reliable family vehicle that is within the Honda family is the 2019 Honda CR-V. Perhaps one of the most valuable safety features of the Honda CR-V is its collision mitigation braking system. According to Kelly Blue Book the collision mitigation braking system allows the Honda CR-V to sense a possible crash and to prevent it by hitting the brakes itself when the driver does not do so in time.
Nissan is yet another car company that is making vehicles with parents in mind. Nissan decided to tap the design talents of two women engineers who are mothers when developing safety features to protect children. The safety feature developed by the two engineers in this new and improved version of the Nissan Pathfinder cause the car's horn to honk to alert parents to the presence of any children that they may have left behind in the car by accident. According to the publicatio Parents Magazine this feature can help prevent the tragic incidents that happen each summer when small sleeping children are left behind by accident in cars that are stifling and hot.
Advancements like the Nissan Pathfinder's alert system are becoming more commonplace as car manufacturers attempt to make vehicles that will appeal to the safety conce s that consumers have.
