The Secret Tool to Manifest Your Vision

The science of manifesting your vision is all about holding the vibration of your vision. Another way of saying this is that to manifest your vision, i.e.: take it from the invisible to material form; you will need to change your thinking and your energy.

Einstein said that, “Problems cannot be solved by the same level of awareness that created them.” Applying this concept to our vision, although we may not see it as a “problem” there is the gap of where we currently stand and the vision itself….the life we’d love to live.

So what is the secret tool, to manifest our vision? In one word, it’s visualization.

“Everyone visualizes, whether they know it or not. Visualizing is the greatest secret of success. The conscious use of this great power attracts to you greatly multiplied resources, intensifies your wisdom, and enables you to make use of advantages which you formerly failed to recognize.” ~Genevieve Behrend-Your Invisible Power

This sounds simple, yet there is more to visualization that imagining something in our mind. Here are the first steps to effective visualization, much of this material comes from Genevieve Behrend’s powerful book written in the early 1900’s:

First we must sustain the visualization by doing it at least 2 times a day preferable before we go to sleep and upon waking. This allows the conscious and subconscious mind to go to work on ideas and activates our intuition and imagination, two powerful mental faculties.

Next, we must engage our senses in this activity to make it real. What does our imagined life look like, smell like, taste like, feel like and sound like? In this process we are beginning to imprint the images into our body on a cellular level.

This is the same process that elite athletes use to create their competitive edge. They have practiced their events in their minds 100’s of times before the actual event…the mental training necessary distinguishes the gold from the silver winners. Neuro science has proven that there is no difference in how the neurons, muscles and other organ operate when the athlete performs their event mentally from the actual event. The mental event is as real as the actual event in terms of how the body and mind respond.

Lastly we speak of taking action by being the man or woman who lives our vision. What do they do during the day, what cars do they drive, and what kinds of conversations, books, movies and events do they attend? Where do they vacation? Who are their friends? Once we form those images we do our best to go out into the world and act like we are living this way; “suiting up” so to speak. It doesn’t mean to go buy the cars, clothes or take the vacations at this point, yet we can start our planning in this phase. At first, it may seem surreal and we may only be able to hold the vision of being the man or woman for a short period of time. We must continue to practice everyday and increase the time spent being the woman or man living this way.

When you get ideas or hunches in this phase it is wise to pay attention to them and act quickly and confidently leaving no stone untu
ed. You can ask empowering questions and decide to stay the course, as persistence is critical. You might ask, “Who can I talk to? What could help here? What else can I do right now with what I have available to me?” You always have way more than you realize.
