The Truth Nobody Tells You About Acne

Acne may be a passing phase of puberty or late adulthood for some but, for others, acne is a lifelong struggle to achieve blemish-free skin. If you think you have been taking every possible step to clear your skin of acne but, still to no avail, it’s high time you looked back at 10 things you probably still haven’t learned about acne until now.
1.Your skincare products and your skincare regimen may be causing you acne.
So, you may be thinking, sure, the products you’ve been using have all been recommended by your dermatologist. In the process, some of your acne have indeed been treated and left scars (which you can later treat with a Cosmelan or another similar skin lightening procedure anyway) but, the achievements still seem to fail at completely ridding your skin of acne.
2.Topical treatments hardly work out fast and long-term solutions.
Acne is a sign that there is an imbalance happening inside your body. It’s not that you’re not responding to the treatment. It simply is because the treatment isn’t exactly addressing the root of the problem, which may range anywhere from a nutrient deficiency or surplus, or perhaps stress.
3.Salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide is the only ingredient you’ll need to tame your acne.
The best products for acne only need any of these two ingredients to clear your skin and rid it of blemishes. The more your acne products are ‘innovating’ so-to-speak, the more likely your skin can get irritated. Remember that the more combination of products you use, the more likely that a reaction can occur. All you really need are either of these two, and while you’re at it, you should look for soap-free, sulfate-free, non-comedogenic, alcohol-free products.
4.Poor diet may be the culprit.
Everything that you put into your body must leave it eventually. If it isn’t converted and used up as energy, it is excreted from the body. Your acne can be a form of excreting toxins. Try to get on a healthier diet composed of nothing but fresh fruits and vegetables, and cooked meals. Avoid processed foods. You should see your skin begin to clear up in just a few days.
5.Stress causes acne.
Stress causes your cortisol levels to be continuously high. This condition causes your skin to become oilier and more prone to infection. Set aside time for relaxation and entertainment. It’s not only good for your skin but, for your overall health and well-being as well.
6.Makeup is good but it does you more bad.
Think a good coverup is helping? Wrong! It only worsens your acne.
7.Oral contraceptives may improve acne.
However, this method works only for women. Taking birth control pills is one of the best products for acne as it helps regulate hormone levels, particularly by keeping testosterone low. Testosterone causes skin to be oily which starts a blemish that eventually leads to acne. This hormone is the reason why boys and men seem to be more prone to acne their entire life (for once women are at an advantage when it comes to skin health!).
8. People who have acne prone skin must moisturize.
In fact, missing out on moisturization can cause the oil glands in your skin to over compensate for the dryness, leak more oil in the process and then make you breakout even more severely. Use lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturizers only.
9. You must not reuse pillow cases and towels to avoid getting the cysts to other parts of your skin.
Avoid reinfection and spreading the infection by changing your towel and pillow cases daily.
10 Getting your acne treated does not end your ordeal with these pesky blemishes.
Acne leaves behind acne marks. Skin brightening creams and procedures such as Cosmelan may help clear your skin of acne scars so you can finally have the flawless skin you’ve been struggling to achieve.

Conclusion
More than just a physical ordeal, acne can affect the state of health and well-being of people affected. Unfortunately, acne treatments are often limited to treating the skin surface rather than offer a more holistic solution.

Working Together - We Can Create Friendship, Business and Love
As a member of The National Writers Union for many years, I have been aware of the problems experienced by educated, professional writers. Many have been deprived of their contracted fees. Others have had their writing plagiarized or syndicated without their consent and without payment to the writer by unscrupulous publishers and authors. But the Writers’ Union has done something about that. Jointly, as a group, they have managed to fight for the rights of individual writers.

Reawakening Love Now
Reawakening love IS possible. It happens all the time. Just when you most feel like giving up, letting go and moving on, stop and reevaluate before leaving. Yes, there are some relationships that have truly run their course. Perhaps the reason for connecting no longer exists and both would be happier elsewhere. But very often, two people reach an impassem, an inevitable butting of heads and personality differences, and instead of working through the issues they just give up and leave.

The Ultimate Virtual Assistant for Your Life, Your Relationships and Your Business
Ever since I began seeing my private therapy and coaching clients, over two decades ago, I have been longing to work with a Virtual Assistant. In fact, I wanted this type of personal assistance to help me cope with my family, my relationships, my career path, and even my health many years before this type of service became available online. When I was single, I would often choose a partner who looked good physically or sounded wonderful at first but proved to be either emotionally or financially bereft – and I thought I had made another “bad” choice.r
