There is problem that is directly the fault of bad leadership withi
Top Network marketing companies. On the contrary, It has created a great divide between pro and con. One camp says that all MLM companies are scams and may come up with some rhetoric in a attempt to prove their case usually pointing out to an article how most lose money at it. Articles just can't explain it all in one fatal swoop.
The other camp will openly speak out in defense of network marketing, and in some cases rationalize the art of self denial of why theirs is not a scam. he end result is becoming an apologist for unethical marketing tactics that some companies utilize to sell themselves. It only has further deepened the great divide against pro verses con to cause most non participants to bastardize MLM all together.
1) Pushy people that don't know how to sell and think that handing someone a brochure is selling. Believe me its amateurish. Other marketers may rationalize silly concepts in some other articles.

2)People in network marketing often feel compelled that everyone should be selling their product and even though you say you're happy doing what you're doing; they don't really listen. Isn't that more like over promising and under delivering? Not everyone is a good fit.

3) Carnival barker P.T. Barnum and once said "There's a sucker born every minute." Those who buy into this hype don't think things critically through. You will encounter these types in your MLM jou
ey at variable times. They subscribe to the group think type of terminology
4) People that are consumed with greed that just seem to spread unrealistic propaganda. They latch on to businesses that have unethical Compensation plans. One such comp plan is the Aussie 2 up Compensation plan which steals commissions from its participants.

5) Now so every often you will come across people that had bad experience with MLM and want to be overly critical. They may call it a pyramid scam or fraud that its a ripoff. Usually pointing out some article that discusses ponzi schemes.Well its the structure that they don't understand. In reality The structure of the Network Marketing organization will not resemble a pyramid but a diamond.
6) Coercive persuasion and brainwashing are common tools used by charismatic leaders to control people into submission. It comes in the form of elaborate role-training regimes companies often use to change the behavior of people. Mainly dealing with mind control. Coercive persuasion is studied in managerial psychology, psychology of religion, epistemology, civil law, politics, diplomacy, and different aspects of sociology.

Solutions

Dis-associate yourself from those who use reverse marketing techniques and those that advocate it. Reverse marketing stems from sending spammers business opportunities of your own. In retrospect reverse marketers respond to other peoples advertisements, Now really , do two wrongs make a right? Just because they spammed you does not give you the right to spam them back. Resist all urging of using the credit cards in business transactions especially when you are not working. Reject advice of advertising in Safe-lists, Free For All links, and most traffic exchanges. Reject advice suggestions of joining MLM Prelaunches. Dump Mentors that tell you advise that does not contour with common sense. Sever relations with mentors that continue to tell you there are ways to earn big money fast.

Reject sales pitches of buying high risk high risk investments stocks, or HYIP's. This will indeed make you a much smarter consumer with powerful and sound knowledge in the long run.

Escape Mainstream BS; “The Message of Mediocrity”
Sorry, but saving ten bucks a week for the rest of your life just because you stopped drinking Starbucks isn't going to make you rich. If you truly have the desire to create something powerful, your addiction to entertainment and other mindless distractions must be retired and replaced with meaningful action. A close second to these atrocious "how to become a millionaire" articles is the equally atrocious guru advice of "do what you love", "follow your passion" and other narcissistic self-loving platitudes. Your personal motives and "loves" to starting a business are absolutely irrelevant to the marketplace.

Doing so is a predictor of failure. As for this entire process, it should be fueled by your internal passion for freedom, autonomy, achievement, or whatever else motivates you — the manner of the work is a by-product of those passions. As Marc Cuban says, to hell with follow your passion — follow your effort. Of course, WTF does Marc Cuban know — he's a billionaire and your broke-blogger-buddy (the one who says "do what you love") rakes in $353/mo

arbitraging Adsense, yea, keep listening to him. Quit doing what you love and start doing what the market wants done. Give the market what IT wants and I guarantee you this— you will get what YOU want. If you want to succeed in the game of entrepreneurship you need to know how to SELL! SELL! SELL! Selling is the act of persuasion: You convince someone of value, and in return, they give you money, time, or an investment. If you can't follow these things my friend, You will be on the slow path to wealth and may not achieve it all together.

I’ll share with you that when I first started in business the image of a leader that I brought with me was an authority figure who has the power to hurt those that are following them. This was because I was so used to being around authority figures who were coming from a place of leading through fear (I came out of the very toxic public school system). I knew I didn’t want that in my business.

Many of my clients share that one of their biggest marketing challenges is actually connecting with enough prospects. They are doing all of this great work in their businesses, but not very many people know about their work; or at least not enough for the flow of business to be moving smoothly and easily. Stop. Start. Stop. Start. Sound familiar? There isn't one perfect way to consistently connect with prospects, but there are many ways that, when used collaboratively, will build you a nice stream of people who are interested in what you do.
