Back acne is commonly known as “bacne,” it tends to appear on the back, the upper portion of the arms and the butt. It can take numerous forms, such as blackheads, cysts, pustules, and pimples. An acne is usually painful and it forms a profound indention on the skin surface.

There is no known scientific explanation for the origins of back acne. Back acne tends to occur when the person reaches puberty and during the production of sebum by the sebaceous glands. The function of the sebaceous glands is at their peak during puberty. When a large amount of sebum is produced, hair follicles and pores can become occluded, attracting more microorganisms. These instances may lead to acne formation. Stress, excessive sweating, genes, and fatty or oily foods do not play an essential role in the origins of back acne. There are no evidences that this condition had progressed from heavy backpacks and tight clothing, although these factors can possibly exacerbate the condition.

This condition has a tough occurrence because there are many sebaceous glands on the back area than on other areas of the body. The skin on the back is also thicker, which predisposes it to resist treatments. There is no known relationship between the occurrence of back acne and various factors, such as genetics, hormones, or stress. They are probably contributory factors, but it is not yet proven. Most specialist concur that rather than worrying too much about the origin of back acne. The patient should try to concentrate on its management.

Acne management or natural home remedies is the most suggested management among younger ones. Acne has a common occurrence and considered as a chronic skin disease. This is an inflammatory disease of the hair follicle and the sebaceous glands. Back acne at any age is really awkward if not painful and inconvenient. Back acne in teenagers, specifically, may be annoying as it occurs at a stage wherein the person is sensitive about his facade. Applying freshly squeezed fruit juice, preferably lemon, on the skin is also a good home remedy for acne. This procedure can give results right away. It can slow down the production of oil and clean pores. Another remedy is mixing aspirin with water. The dilution of aspirin and water is a great unguent for exfoliation. This is one of the most useful remedy. Using gel from an herbal plant, such as Aloe Vera, is very effective for sensitive skin. It can truly heal your acne and skin.
