When you think of Academy Awards, do you think "spiritual reading"? If not, why not? I have an annual custom of doing aura readings, comparing auras of top-nominated actors with their auras in roles; it's a way to show that deeper perception can be practical. And, of course, you can also do a similar kind of reading by exploring body language, so why not do both? Anyone nominated for Best Actor or Actress has the technical skills down cold. The voice, the walk, the imagination, the ability to make a role seem spontaneous and real. But an intuitive reading can show you something even more fascinating. Who changes so deep, even the aura is altered? What happens deep within energy fields? Auras combine changing experiences with gifts of the soul, components that usually don't change. But can a super talented actor change all the way down to that level? Some can. This year, I have researched five ultra-revealing aura databanks on each nominee for Best Actress and Best Actor. Then I have used a photo of each nominee as herself or himself. For comparison, I have read those very same databanks on the actor or actress in the nominated movie role. In this article, we're reading the super-duper performance of super-sexy Tommy Lee. Until you can do aura readings through a dedicated technique, try this short-cut. Look into the actor's eyes, in the photo being read. Then turn to the comments on one chakra at a time. Alternating this sequence, you can taste the flavor pretty strongly. This is a kind of intuitive reading, a super-scaled-down version of one of my techniques for reading the soul through the eyes. You'll receive just about 10% of the clarity from doing bona fide aura readings, but it's fun. And it's an amazing way to supplement what you already learn by studying body language. TOMMY LEE JONES uses a boy's name, just like Johnny Depp, but let's see if he's a different kind of boy. "In the Valley of Elah" the actor plays a Vietnam vet who searches for his missing son, a soldier in Iraq. Here is our research photo of the actor: www.selfgrowth.com PRESENCE WHEN ENTERING A ROOM at the Root Chakra This chakra databank reminds me of the song "I'm not as young as I once was, but I'm as young once as I ever was." The actor isn't at his most vibrant, yet he has such wonderful qualities: Humanity, humor, courage, and the intent to help others. And dare I say it? I enjoy reading this chakra on a big star whose career doesn't mostly depend on raw sex appeal. SEX APPEAL at the Belly Chakra This is a man who enjoys his sex life. He doesn't disguise this, aurically, but neither does he flaunt. HANDLING POWER IN TOUGH SITUATIONS at the Solar Plexus Chakra Jones embodies a traditional ethic about manliness. In a tough situation he will protect and defend. It's about honor for him. EMOTIONAL CONNECTION TO OTHER PEOPLE at the Heart Chakra Altogether, this actor displays strong introvert qualities at his heart chakra. With this databank, he's going to be highly selective about which people he chooses for personal friendships. But then his capacity for intimacy is huge, and loyalty matters immensely to him. A typical actor he's not. SOUL DEVELOPMENT at the High Heart Chakra This sweet old soul is really enjoying his life these days. He has found a way to live his personal values, even in Hollywood. Now let's compare Tommy's aura in his role as Hank Deerfield, using this photo: www.selfgrowth.com PRESENCE WHEN ENTERING A ROOM at the Root Chakra This character is concerned and troubled, all the way down to this chakra. He's got a cause, verging on a mission. Even if we knew nothing about the sort of mission, what's so lovely about this chakra change is that the mission isn't about ME-ME-ME. Thank you, Tommy, for showing an altruistic kind of chakra change. You won't find it, for instance, in any other nominated role for Best Actor this year. SEX APPEAL at the Belly Chakra Oboy, this is a powerfully attractive characterization. I'm reminded of another country music song, applying to this character. The gist of this song is, "Honey, now that you and I have just come back from a funeral, I'm reminded of the fragility of life. Aren't you? So let's have some urgent, hot sex." Only with the character, as designed by Tommy Lee, the appeal seems way more believable. Hank Deerfield is a sexy man who finds consolation in sex, and he won't accept help any other way. Ladies in the audience, you feel so sorry for him, wouldn't it be great to help him out? With a chakra change like this, it's a shame that each theater can't take a survey after each performance. "Will all willing females sign up if available?" For volunteers in that fantasy survey about a fantasy, I'd predict a big turnout. HANDLING POWER IN TOUGH SITUATIONS at the Solar Plexus Chakra Curiosity and bitterness lie on the surface. Deeper below is rage. All three sources of power motivate this character with compelling force. EMOTIONAL CONNECTION TO OTHER PEOPLE at the Heart Chakra Being so troubled about his son, this character isn't connecting emotionally to anyone else, not any time soon. At this heart chakra databank, I find the equivalent of a "Vacancy" sign. This, of course, is a very appealing change for countless male viewers. What fun to identify with a very decent character, sexy as a guy can be, but, sorry! He has no time or energy to deal with mere feelings. SOUL DEVELOPMENT at the High Heart Chakra Jones is actually reaching above his personal soul age for this role. The character shows a nobility, wisdom and strength of a more ancient being. Bravo! Total number of chakras dramatically changed: 5 CONCLUSION: Yes, Tommy Lee Jones changes all these chakras. I should note that, with the exception of the last databank read here, these changes are an extension of his regular personality, not a completely creative invention. Still, Tommy is hardly the first movie star to earn fans by playing, mostly, himself. So, where is the complete set of these readings, and the photos to go with them? You can receive it all, for free, by signing up for my e-zine, "Read Life Deeper." The February Zine is all about the Oscars. "Reading Life Deeper" is available to you for as long as you like. I never, ever, rent or sell your personal information. nn(This, of course, is where a lot of spam comes from. Somebody gathers your data and sells it. Phooey on that-ey. People who want to do spiritual reading don't want the consequences of that kind of action to clutter up their energy fields, right? Not to mention, I hate getting spam, so why would I do that to others.) Note also, this is a once-a-month online magazine. For a body language fan, this could become your next step at reading people deeper. You won't be getting daily updates and I definitely won't be sending you corny jokes (much as I personally love them, who has the time?) Knowing all this, plus the fact that you can easily unsubscribe at any time, click here, www.selfgrowth.com, then scroll down, to sign up and join thousands of other readers who receive "Read Life Deeper." And then please share your own reactions to the article, and your own aura readings, at my blog. www.selfgrowth.com If you like reading faces, comment as well. Please add your insights about body language. And, of course, if you have actually SEEN any of the nominated films, which I have not… how about YOUR reality check on my readings? n n

It's a kind of spiritual Rorshach Test, speaking to one of the rare people living on earth today who has attained the permanent state of consciousness known as "Enlightenment." Would you make a fool of yourself? I have. But first things first.... Have you ever talked to someone spiritually Enlightened? Probably not. Not yet chatted or gossiped or hugged or been healed by or argued with or been embarrassed in front of. The odds are against it so far. Not personal. A matter of numbers.

Yesterday, I did aura readings to help my client change her middle name. "Calliope" already loved her first name, but that middle name, "Clytemnestra," definitely stank. Okay, I can divulge this much about our confidential session. "A " was that client's real middle name. A perfectly fine name ...

Elizabeth Edwards, who died December 7, did so many things right. For example, she managed the presidential campaign for her husband, John Edwards -- at least until he self-destructed as a politician. Creating his briefing books and directing his campaign, sometimes Elizabeth tried to push her husband farther toward the left, as with her support of same-sex marriage. Excellent!
