Multiple treatment options are available to treat breast cancer. But modality to treat breast cancer depends upon certain factors like the nature of cancer and spreading area of cancer. It has often been found that breast cancer-affected patients need a combination of treatment modalities instead of a single treatment. The cancerous tissue removes out through surgical intervention.

Chemotherapy

Specific medication prescribed for shrinking or killing cancerous growth. The mode of administration of these medications may be oral or injectable or both.

Hormonal therapy

And also prescribed for treating metastatic breast cancer. • Everolimus is used as a combination therapy with other medications to treat breast cancer. • Alpelisib is prescribed for menopausal women suffering from breast cancer and the condition becomes worse due to prescribed hormonal therapy. • Anastrozole is prescribed for menopausal women suffering from early-stage breast cancer, metastatic breast cancer, and even advance staged breast cancer. • Pamidronate disodium is a chemotherapeutic drug prescribed for metastatic breast cancer affected patients and cancer cells spread to the bone. • Exemestane is used for both advanced and early-stage breast cancer with estrogenic receptor-positive. • Atezolizumab is used for patients with locally advanced metastatic nature and cannot be removed through surgical intervention.
