1. Develop a clear view of the results you desire to achieve. You must know where you are going before you set out on your trip to successville.

2. Develop a detailed step-by-step plan on how you will achieve your results.

3. Identify the additional poeple and skills needed to reach your results. Who are they and what training, if any, do they need?

4. Develop a clear timeline for the process involved in reaching your results.

5. Clearly define the actions required to reach the results. Be specific and timeline related.

6. Develop a clear standard for evaluating your progress.

7. Develop alte
ative actions if you have to change or adjust your original action plans. This is "Just in case."

8. Maintain high morale and enthusiasm through regular communication with team mebers involved in the project.

9. Don't forget the great virtue of patience. There'll be some frustrations on your trip to resultsville.

10. Never let the vision of your results slip from your mind. Keep it alive and vibrant.
