Albert Einstein once said, “Few are those who see with their own eyes and feel with their own hearts.”

Do you love what you do? Are you satisfied with your life? If you are, then congratulations—you’re one of the few lucky people in the world. But if you are NOT, you must ask yourself why.

The fact is that most people base their opinions and actions on the prejudices and expectations of their social environment. That means that most of us make decisions about our lives based on what other people see, feel, want, and believe rather than on our own beliefs and desires!

But the moment you let the opinions of others control your life is the moment you lose your uniqueness—the special quality that makes you YOU.

You are one of a kind, and you absolutely must see the world with your own eyes and feel it with your own heart.

Today I want to share with you a few insights that can help you liberate your uniqueness.

First, you must visualize your ideal life. How do you want it to look? Grab a sheet of paper NOW and write down all of the details of the greatest life scenario, of your best life. Then take those details and draw a picture in your mind of your ideal life. Forget about what other people think, or how they’ve drawn your life for you since your childhood. Decide right now that you will live your life your own way, and in the best way you can. It is never too late.

Second, listen to your OWN heart. What do you love to do the most? Your OWN passion is the ultimate motivation you need to achieve your dreams and aspirations, and living with passion is the core of a fulfilled life. Following your heart will turn your life into a satisfying masterpiece. Acting on your passions will help you create a legacy that will remain in the hearts and memories of others for years to come.

Give yourself permission to BE UNIQUE. Liberate your uniqueness, see your life with your own eyes, and live it with your own heart. Build your own vision of your ideal life, follow your passion, and craft your ultimate legacy.

After all, your life does not belong to other people—it is YOURS alone! And did I mention that it is very short? So take action today and take advantage of all the precious moments of your life. Don’t live it small—live it BIG and make an impact on the world.
Liberate your uniqueness.

You are in a category by yourself and the world needs just YOU.

My business gives me the opportunity to work with many wonderful people as a client and as a supplier of services. Some time back however, I found myself doubting. I have been doubting other people and their integrity. I found myself in the position where I was filtering all my interactions through the polarising lens of a few souring experiences. In this space and sense of doubting others I had felt unable to create words or metaphors which could possibly be of service to you. So what changed? Frankly, Brett Godfrey did.

In the last week I have worked with 2 different people who are struggling to get their message across. They each have an idea and are being blocked by another persons’ apparent stubbornness. In each case when they analysed what was happening they discovered that the other person was not in fact being stubborn, but they were reacting emotionally to an inexpertly delivered message. What to do if you are being blocked.

We cover the topic of Locus of Control in our Leadership programs, so it is 2nd nature for me to take full ownership for whatever outcomes I am creating in my life. Several of my coaching clients have requested support with either time management or work life balance When we have a discovery conversation on their challenge there is generally much more to discuss on the topic of insufficient delegation. They're keeping excessive responsibilities, authority and duty to their and their company's detriment. Consequently they under perform at their own level. They hold themselves back or suffer from a lack of balance in their lives with too many hours at work.
