Your home should also be changed into a safe haven for your dogs to stay in. Start by inspecting your air vents and make sure there are filters there. You should also check on the current condition of those filters and change then into new ones to keep the air circulation clean inside your home.

There are oral meds that your vet can also prescribe for your dog allergies treatment. Among them are steroids and antihistamines. But when you start to use these, make sure you follow the med schedules accordingly.

Another type of medication can be done in the form of immune modulators. These help regulate the immune system and prevent them from overreacting against allergens. However, these can be quite expensive as they are often administered through shots.

Then of course, omega 3 fatty acids would also most likely be prescribed. You can either have your dog take these as oral meds or be taken in the form of specific meals rich with the substance. But it would be prescribed for up to six weeks because it does take that long to fully incorporate into the dog's system.
