You may not realize it, but playing with a rope requires more than just using your hands; you have to use your entire body to control a rope and throw it with accuracy. Battle rope training is becoming one of the latest trends in fitness.
First of all, battle rope training is different from training with an ordinary rope partly because they are a lot longer. They usually come in three different sizes, namely 16, 32 and 82 feet long. As these ropes are actually very long, they do require a fair bit of strength to be able to use them. There are actually many benefits in making use of these extra-long ropes as a new form of whipping yourself into shape!
