Using The Internet To Make Fast Cash

People frequently ask me to help them make money. Sometimes, people ask about making fast cash. Although it is actually quite easy to make money on the Internet, it is not so easy to make it fast if you are just starting out.

When just starting out on the Internet, traffic to your site or sales page is sporadic. Unfortunately, this is normal. You may get 10 visitors today, 30 tomorrow, and 7 the day after that. Let’s assume that you average 15 visitors per day.

At that rate, you would generate about 100 visitors each week to your site. For purposes of this illustration, let’s be very generous and assume that about 20% of your traffic will click on an affiliate link that you have there. Using these numbers, you will send about 20 people each week to the affiliate sales page.

On average, about 1% of the people who visit a sales page will make a purchase. That means for every 100 visitors, you will generate about 1 sale. Using our traffic figures above, you will make your first sale in about 5 weeks. On this sale, you made a total of $34.

If your affiliate product were through PayDotCom, you would be paid via PayPal on about the 15th of the following month. Therefore, it took you about 7 weeks to receive your first check. Some of the other affiliate programs make you wait longer to fulfill certain minimums before they will send you a check and this could significantly increase the length of time required before getting paid.

As you can see, if you need fast cash, you should probably look to sources other than the Internet. This is not to say that it is impossible to make money quickly, but it is unlikely.
