1. Dulse takes some people by surprise. This sea vegetable looks like a purple leaf and is a bit crunchy with a salty flavor to it. Like dulse, you can just peel off a sduare and consume it like most snacks…only this one is awesome for you.
Nori has lots of B vitamins and of course has that B12 that your body really needs. It also contains iodine, and unsaturated fatty acids. The fatty acids which when processed by your body, will help to nourish your brain cells.
Now, Nori does have a fair amount of sodium, so it is best to be careful and not over consume this seaweed.
Do you like healthy green powder drinks? Yes, Nori has been used to create some of those green powders, that you can add water to and use it for a healthy drink while exercising.
3. Now if the sea vegetables listed above are not really getting you excited, don’t despair. Doesn’t everyone love cucumbers? Well sea cucumbers are awesome, and you can add them into your diet by putting them into your salads. Sea cucumbers have many types of B vitamins, but they also contain magnesium which is essential for brain health and energy production.
