‘Want To’ Life Or ‘Have To’ Life? The difference Between Financial Abundance & Scarcity

Who on earth are you asking for guidance?

Your parents?

Your older friends?

Your pastor?

Or some other Spiritual Guru person?

I suppose that that sounds great and they are probably very wise about keeping you safe but do you want a ‘Create abundant wealth doing the work I WANT TO and am born to do’ life or a ‘Go To Work Because I HAVE TO in order to maintain an okay, comfortable life’?

And you may choose the latter because a lot of people do and the chances are that all the people you are looking to for advice chose the latter life as well…

And they may even be happy with it…

But you, leader, you will never be…

Though you may find that it is a more comfortable existence…

One where you get to kill off your big dreams while keeping everyone in your life happy and having a false happy life, being someone who you are not…

But it will certainly feel safe…

As long as you keep the partner happy…

The boss happy…

You can even do a little bit of leadership stuff around your local church (under the vision of your pastor who had the guts to go after his/her own vision and is very protective of it!) where people there can be soooo thankful to you for helping them out with your gifting and you can tell yourself that you are fulfilling your calling…

And go home and try hard to ignore the fact that you feel dead and lost inside…

Yep, you can tell yourself you are waiting for God to tell you when to move…

Biding your time…

Helping others establish their own visions while you wait for your time…

And it will all seem so practical and selfless and spiritual and holy…

It will all be a lie but hey, you get to be safe… Kinda!

Yep, unfortunately, many choose that life and even I chose that life for a long, long time…

It took hitting rock bottom to break me free from it…

Will you wait for that too?

I certainly hope not!

But sometimes, it seems that the hard way is the only way the universe can get our attention!

And we want it to get our attention…

We don’t really want to get to the end and realise we passively and very blindly whistled our way to the end while somehow avoiding doing the work we are born to do, somehow avoiding our purpose as we settled for the ‘safe’ life!

Leader, that vision inside of you is REAL!

Well, it could be real if you will just stop listening to the wrong people…

Stop going to the safe people for advice when they are not even living the life you want to live, the life you feel called to live!

Seriously?!

I know they love you…

But they do not GET YOU!

If you want to create a life of abundance where you get to change many, many lives with your product, service, books, music, ministry, you are going to have to get a little uncomfortable…

It will not feel safe all the time…

The people in your life may not like it if they are more of the ‘safe’ kind…

You will be attracted more to people like me that actually live the life you are wanting but then you will have to walk the path I walked to get here…

Make some mistakes and not let them kill you…

Be brave enough to keep moving forward ANYWAY!

Yep, this ‘Because I want to’ life is pretty amazing but honey, it certainly ain’t for the weak-minded!

OH NO!

You can have it all…

You have to be willing to do what it takes…

Are you?

Well, to start, stop listening to the wrong people!

No matter how well-intentioned they are, they do not KNOW what YOU should be doing!

Be wise leader!
