From birth, you look for security. You look into the eyes of your parents, seeking out love, seeking out acceptance, checking to see that who you are is good enough for them. They are your first measure of whether you are worthy or not.
And then you look into the eyes of friends, you go through a phase of changing yourself to suit them and you may still be in that phase. You want them to tell you that who you are, is great and lovable and acceptable…
Even though you are showing them who you are not!
And so nothing feels really secure…
Nothing feels real…
None of the accolades or approval you get, when you put on your false self, feel real because you know that this is not you…
But you feel you must be this person in order to fit in, to feel secure…
But actually, you feel less and less secure…
Less and less certain…
And you hide more and more…
Trying to be ‘this’ person - checking the reaction to that…
Then you try to be ‘that’ person and you check the reaction to that…
All the time, who you really are is getting more and more hidden, more and more lost as you try so hard to be who ‘they’ want you to be…
You think that will buy you security and abundance if you could finally know what they want from you…
You think that when you finally get that ‘person’ right then you will get everything you desire…
You think your business will work better as well, once you become who they want you to be…
Or maybe it is your career…
But this is an endless journey to nowhere…
There is no security when you trust yourself to the fickle nature of people just like you who are also searching for acceptance and security in people and things exte al to themselves.
Who you are is discovered in the secret place, in the hidden place, not in the eyes of another.
Security is found when you look within…
Security is found as you strip off all those false layers and come back to the heart of you and choose to BE that person…
Wealth, abundance, purpose is found as you trust yourself and God/The Universe…
As you trust that the person you ARE, the REAL YOU that has been present since before you were even aware of yourself… That ‘you’ is where your security lies!
Not in the ever changing exte al events, people, circumstances…
Looking for security and fulfilment outside of you, will never feel enough! Never, ever, EVER!
Come back, wake up - It is YOU the world awaits!
Be still and know who you are, who you are born to be and then show up as ‘YOU’!
With no apology, show up boldly as ‘YOU’ and ask for what you want out of life. You may not get it in exactly the form you demand it but you will definitely get a better result than now because fortune favours the bold.
At the moment, your energy is dissolved and split all over the place as you try to appease others and seek out approval by being a false, dissatisfying version of you.
Instead, FOCUS all your energy on deliberately designing the life you want and magic will start to happen.
Again, the world awaits YOUR awakening so WAKE UP and own who you are!
Security, happiness, fulfilment is not found ‘out there’…
It is found within.
