Watch What You Say

What you say determines what is in your heart and eventually determines your placement in life. Out of abundance of heart speaks the mouth, since thoughts are words spoken that shapes our destiny, for better or for bitter.

“How long will this wicked community grumble against me? I have heard the complaints of these grumbling Israelites. So tell them, as surely as I live, declare the LORD, I will do to you the very things I heard you say: Numbers 14:27-28

You must audit your thoughts before you pronounce them because surely God will make them to come to pass. The potency of your words is been corroborated by King Solomon in proverbs chapter eighteen verse twenty one, that there is power of life and death in the tongue.

The tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole person, sets the whole course of his life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.

You cannot underestimate the power of your words. Satan works constantly to get you to say negative things. How? By firing arrows of discouragement, disappointment and pain at you to get you distracted, murmur, complain to speak words of defeat; eventually sending your life into confusion.

Words used in the right perspective will change the world around you. If they are used in a wrong manner it will cause your entire life to go in the wrong direction and confusion. Instead speak words of faith to stop and extinguish his influence around you. Ephesians 6:16 states: “Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.”

Matt 12:33-37rn“Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit.

Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.

But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.

For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

Words transmit power and it reveals our character and it determines our reward and judgement. God shape this world by His spoken word in Genesis 1:2-4 and sustains His creation with His words as Hebrews 1:3 states: Miracles are performed through the use of words Romans 4:17. Therefore, if you were fearfully made and patterned to God’s image, you need to wisely use your words as He did to create a better world for yourself.

Use your words to create the world you desire. Peradventure presently you don’t like what you see around you; reframe your words to suit the life you wanted. Tailor them towards what you desire.

Declare boldly with all enthusiasm “my tongue has the power of life and death so I speak with all authority words of life, peace, joy, harmony and faith. I am redeemed to profit in all my life endeavours. I am first among equals, a pace-setter among my peers, a trend-setter and a trail-blazer. I am anointed and blessed in all that I set my hand to do. I am favoured by God who is my helper.

I am a gift to my generation; any where I turn I prosper. I am mountain mover, I have faith. Nothing is impossible for me. I stir my faith to receive what God has promised. I activate my God given potential in, I cannot be hindered. This is my season of exploit and appointment with destiny; I have what it takes to make with Gods manifold wisdom.
