Victoria, I really want to lose weight and get rid of my chubby body once and for all but I lose my focus.

How do I stay on my eating program without missing out on life? I feel like every time I am having success something happens to sabotage me or I go out with my friends and I blow my diet by eating the wrong foods. I want to be fit and enjoy my life too.

How do I stop this terrible cycle?

Hi Nina, First and foremost get this brand in your mind. You are not a slave to food. Remember, food serves you. It fuels you for your daily activities. You don’t serve food!

With this rapid advancement of our prosperity and lifestyle it’s getting a little tougher for some of us to stay on a diet. So this is a great question about how to avoid being sabotaged by friends, families and enemies.

You want to stay on your program but you have to go to birthday parties, office gatherings, and family visits. We know the summer is tough and is definitely a challenge with all of the outdoor barbecues and luncheons. You know the long picnic table that you have to walk past with every possible high fat delicacy on it and you’re tempted to taste everything one of them.

And one of my favorite sites to witness is a person who goes to one of those huge superstores to shop and they stop and try every food sample that is offered them as they shop.

Nina I know that you want to stay on track but with all of these potential chances to be sabotaged, what do you do?

You DECIDE to be a disciplined person and stay in control of your eating and workout schedule. You must make up your mind that you will not pick up any food that does not serve you or take you to the great new body you desire.

Wake up. You have to use your will to stay committed to every part of your transformation process. It is your choice and you need to make it without wavering. You need to be alert at every meal and diligent about following your prescribed plan.

It is important for us to continue training correctly and not let our fire die out or our form start to slack. This is the perfect time to renew your fire to get in the best shape of our life. You can do it. This is the only body you get. Make it the best possible.

A healthy body has less fat. A vibrant body is sexy. A fit body is every woman’s dream. It is the vessel that will make it possible for you to serve your purpose. A fit body is your ticket to living a disease free fun filled life!

Here are some tips that help stop you from being sabotaged.

1.Gratitude: Be thankful every day of all the things we do correctly and the blessings we receive. Live life with your heart wide open. Look for the good. Look for the positive decisions you are making and the good progress. No matter how small you think it is, acknowledge it. The happier you are, the least likely you will be to cheat.

2. Enjoy: Absorb all the beauty nature offers every day. Enjoy colors, textures, clothes, friendships and conversations. Enjoy your family, friends, and music, cool party clothes and special occasions. Start some new exciting beauty rituals too.

3. Celebrate: Celebrate your victories. Celebrate life, freedom and your newfound health. Every breath you take is another breath toward your future. Don't miss any part of life. If you make a mistake, forgive yourself and get back in the game and get excited. Enthusiasm will sustain you sometimes when nothing else will.

4. Be Fit Now: In the motivational world it's called, acting as if: Move as if you were your perfect size. Move like you are at your perfect weight Strut, glide, hustle, move and groove like a chorus line doll. Walk around your party with friends or office, party or your relatives with confidence and energy. Don't stand in front of the food table and drool looking deprived and weak. Move around, engage in positive conversations, and smile at everyone, even the office gossip. Display power and regardless of what happens, appear content and in complete control of your destiny. Don't tell one person you are on a diet. Be proud that you are taking control of your health. Wear that sexy outfit you have been afraid of.

5. Eat with peace: Decide what you are going to have before you make your plate. Sample goodies if you wish, don't take a whole piece of pie, cake and ice cream. Make the majority of your choices healthy choices and leave some room for some fun snacks. When you get up the next day you won't regret eating a ton of sugar and breads.

6. Plan: If you go to dinners and you're not the cook, you can always offer to bring substitutes, such as baked apples, fat free pumpkin pie or a huge fruit or veggie tray. Cover yourself first and make sure you have some healthy choices. If you were on a medically regulated program, you wouldn't hesitate making these suggestions. For the next three weeks, as as if you are on a life saving program. Please speak up.

7. Prayers and Meditation: Prayer brings peace, solitude and liberty. If you let God guide you, how can it be wrong? He is perfect and has infinite wisdom. Meditate on how much joy you will feel when you look in the mirror and you are happy with what you see.
