Panic attacks cause quite a wide variation of different symptoms between the different people who suffer from them, which can make it difficult to identify the condition. The symptoms can also have a varied effect on different people. Some serious physical conditions, such as heart attacks, share some of the same symptoms. If the panic attack is mistaken for a heart attack, the stress will increase anxiety and make the attack worse, so it is important to recognize that it is a panic attack. It could even lead a person to the incorrect course of treatment. So what are panic attacks? How are they caused? And what are the symptoms?
The Role Adrenaline Plays

Often, there is a link between adrenaline levels in the body and panic attacks, although it must be said that they are not caused by brain chemical imbalances. Some of the symptoms of panic attacks are caused by adrenaline and the hormone can increase the chance of an attack if the level is high. Heightened levels of adrenaline can cause heart palpitations, fast breathing, and dizziness.

A vital symptom to be aware of is constantly feeling stressed. This stress can be seen as headaches, joint pain, tiredness, or muscle pain. Extreme symptoms can also develop like paranoia or even hallucinations.

Panic attacks may seem to be overwhelming but recognizing the symptoms is good progress towards curing yourself. Try to be optimistic and look forwards to more progress leading to freeing yourself from the attacks permanently.

It is not advised to use drugs to deal with panic attacks. Temporary relief from some of the symptoms may be supplied by drugs such as Xanax and Celexa, but these do not sure the condition. A permanent cure cannot be found in drug treatments but it is a good idea to be informed of them. It is a trap to avoid, spending money on drugs and becoming dependent on them but never being cured. It is infinitely more beneficial to go down the natural road.
