What If You Don't Know What You're Missing?

I remember a time when someone wonderful had entered my life. I had been a single parent for some time, and although it was difficult at times I was really blessed by the individuals that occupied my home – my kids! Such beautiful people

And together we had such a bond, such a tight unit, that we never felt that something was missing. The children still saw their fathers so it wasn’t like we needed a Dad to replace anyone. We were a family!

And then came Mr. Wonderful, he entered our life for a short time and brought more laughter, more happiness, and more life than we had ever felt before. There was a sense of excitement, mixed with love, trust and a chance of a great future. I remember Jade being 2yrs old and saying “He makes my Mummy laugh, he makes her happy”. We all fell in love with him.

For the first time we realized that something had been missing, we just hadn’t been aware of it before. But with him as a part of us it was better, greater, more fun. This was a man, yes a great man.

And it got me to thinking, what if your life is fine? And you are doing just great on your own, and yes you are happy, or maybe not. But this is what you know, this is all you know. Like me you may have felt, that everything is just fine…. until something great comes in, and then you know Love, then you know Truth, then you know what it is to feel Complete.

What if that power was not a man, but God. What if God entered your life. Let me tell you, that whatever you felt before is just a dot compared to the Love that fills you. What you thought was love is magnified by a thousand. It fills you, it is a part of you, you can and only want to Be and share Love.

If you’ve never experienced it, you don’t know what your missing !

What happened to Mr. Wonderful, you ask? Well I would like to blame someone else for disrupting our lives, but really I have to take full responsibility. At that time I was not strong enough to handle the problem/person that disrupted our lives. Mr Wonderful remains wonderful, he did what a great man would do and gave us all space, his thoughts never left us
