You may have seen some people claim that they are intuitive or they are intuitive. Have you ever wondered what this means?

I’m sure you are familiar with the gut feeling or simply knowing what to do in a particular situation. That’s your intuition guiding you to a certain outcome that is most beneficial for you. Everyone is intuitive. However, many people are so caught up with their thoughts and ego that they have a hard time listening to their intuition unless they have a really strong sign.

Someone who says that they are intuitive is telling you that they are able to let go of the thoughts and quiet the ego so they can hear what their heart is saying. Trust that an intuitive that speaks from their heart, because that is the best inner guide to listen to.

An intuitive may be clairsentient where they experience inner guidance through feelings or physical sensations; clairvoyant, where they get visions; or clairaudient where they hear the guidance through words, songs or sounds. Someone who sees visions may be able to see a crisp clear scene with lots of details, or they may see simply and object, letter or colour.

Someone who is clairsentient may get a feeling or sensation that helps guide them. For instance, they may get a tingling sensation in their arm when they speak to someone who proposes a new idea to them. This idea is something that the intuitive individual or the person speaking may need to take action on.

A clairsentient tends to get general information on how things feel but may not be able to give you a precise date or name. You may ask them a question about what to do in a particular situation and they may get a feeling of excitement if the route they are considering is positive for their life’s journey or a feeling of heaviness or nauseousness if the outcome from moving in that direction isn’t beneficial.

A heart-centred intuitive will encourage you to develop your own intuitive skills and help teach you steps that you can take to help you on your journey. They will not want you to become dependent on them.

Always remember that the best place to find advice is within your own heart. An intuitive can help you through a particular road block, but whatever advice you get, you should always check in with your heart to see what feels right for you.
