We all have a passion for something. Through time and patience, we have allowed ourselves to experiment with different things and uncover a part of us that finds a sense of joy and accomplishment in our passion.
Some people have become great artist and musicians, while others have a profound passion for health and the environment. There is neither right nor wrong, as it takes all things to make this a wondrous world.
I marvel at other’s compassion and genuine conce
for the wellbeing of all things. Through individual and group efforts that help feed the hungry, help the homeless and spend countless hours dedicated to helping rid the world of deadly diseases.
I believe through time, our passion grows. The more we learn the more our passion takes on new meaning and our intentions become more focused. For some their passion does not pay in monetary means, but in a strong sense of accomplishing a need to help and it is repaid by gratitude, both giving and receiving.
No passion in this life is too trivial; it all has an effect on something else. Where someone starts is often times not where someone finishes, as the mind opens up new possibilities arise and new adventures unfold.
So if you are deep sea diving tagging fish, if you are handing out food at a shelter, or if you are in the midst of creating your next work of art, remember they are all important.
How do you know what your passion is? Only you know, no one else can tell you. You have to put the time and energy into you and experiment with different things. Ask yourself some important questions: What conce
s me the most about life? What can I do to change it? What do I like to do? Is there something that I haven’t tried yet? How you feel about things will influence your passions greatly.
How do you get the passion back? That part is the easy part. It will take some soul searching on your behalf to answer that. What was it that took you away from it in the first place? Spend some time reflecting on your answer, it could be time, or money, etc. If you got bored with it, use your imagination and think of ways to add fun to it to welcome it back in. Lastly, if it is too big of a picture, narrow it down to a specific part, this often times helps and you don’t feel so overwhelmed by it.
What you do is an extension of who you are. As you grow, your passion grows and often times changes or takes on new passions as well. I wish you the very best.
