What Makes The NEW Think And Grow Rich So Special?

One of the frequent questions I receive is, "What makes The NEW Think and Grow Rich, and Think and Grow Rich, so special?"
It's not necessarily that people are asking, "Why are you saying that it's so special?" If I were in advertising, that would be a logical question. If I were advertising the book as special, they'd say "Why is it so special?"
But these people are asking the question from a point of view where they know it's special, and they're asking because they're curious. What is it that makes it so special?
Well, of course, there are a lot of things—but here's basically what I see it as. The book, the philosophy, and of course by extension the audios and other products—they are the jackpot. They are the secret treasure, the secret that all of a sudden turns you into a superman or superwoman.
They give you the ability to access your own powers. There is magic, which we would call HoloMagic, in the book. How did that come about? Well, I think it came about from the nature of the book. The book was not and is not the result of a philosophy of one individual telling their story about how they made it big on whatever.
I heard about a real estate guru the other day. He was asked, "How many commercial deals have you done?" He's in commercial real estate. His reply? "Well, one—but I made $300,000."
My reaction?! “And you're teaching a course?”
Me, me, me, beat on my chest, beat on my chest, that's what most success books are.
And a lot of them, like for instance J. Paul Getty's How To Be Rich, are legacy statements—that's what he's making. Again, it's about him—he definitely was rich. Interesting book. I recommend you read it.
But it was still not what Napoleon Hill did. Napoleon Hill did qualitative, quantitative research on vast numbers of people—at that time, 500 people, though of course we've expanded it greatly.
But 500 wealthy individuals—and he went into the field to find out what it was that these individuals did. What qualities, what traits, what principles did they follow? What was it? How did they get rich?
And of course when you see this and go through different professions, different times, different businesses, different individuals, different histories, different everything—you see the principals. Every single one of the 13 named principles (that's what we call them) Napoleon discovered through inductive research.
He didn't go in the field with a premise to prove. He went into the field and interviewed and examined enough high-level successes that he could disce
what he called the 13 principles. I call them the 13 named principles, because there are even more.
But what makes the book so great, so profound, is that it really is the distilment, the essence, the quintessential elements, formula, principles that any individual who is capable and sincere can put to work to become wealthy—anywhere, at any time, in any economy. They were derived from the study of over 500 of the richest individuals.
Currently, with The NEW Think and Grow Rich, they're derived from a study of over 3,000 wealthy, achieving, contributing individuals. nn==================================
