What on earth is life coaching?
This is actually a question that I am asked most frequently
and is yet still one of the more difficult questions tornanswer…
“ In the past I would have had my three-minute intro
speech ready in anticipation ”
But the simple truth is this, as in Life… coaching is usually
as varied and as individually tailored for the coach, as it isrnfor the person that asks the question…
So in reality there is no single answer that fits all.
One of my favorite descriptions, I personally like to use isrnthat life coaching could be compared to…
An anti virus software program.
When we are born we are presented with something rather
special, an incredibly unique gift…
An extremely complicated and sophisticated computer
system within our head, sits probably the most powerful
and incredible personal computer on this planet, nothing
has been built that can compare to the duties that our
computer system can task, all managed and controlled for
us by our conscious and sub conscious minds...
But right here lays the dilemma. We were never ever
presented with a users guidebook.
So since day one we have been uploading information and
programs that are both positive and negative, we have
gathered this data from our experiences in everyday life,
from our peers, from our educators, from the media and inrnsome cases from our governments.
The fact is some of this programming encourages us and
empowers us, however others perform against us slowing
us up and possibly stopping our overall performance and
affecting our everyday life style.
Eventually our programs and systems do start to let usrndown…
It is then that we finally become sick and tired of being sick
and tired.
This is the time for change and it is this time when a life
coach will become invaluable to you …
