One of the most important decisions you’re ever going to make in life is going to be when it’s time for you to buy a car. It’s one of the most fun but yet dreadful things to have to do as an adult, or even a teenager who is lucky enough to be getting a car. There are many things that you have to take into consideration when purchasing a vehicle. Like do you want a new or used car? This would probably be one of the first steps you have to take. Next would be what model and manufacturer.

These days there are so many cars it’s really hard to choose. Sometimes you don’t always get what you want even though you are the one in complete control since you are paying for it. You have to think about all the pros and cons of each car, especially if you are one of those people that don’t just have money growing in their back yards.

One of the most important things I tell people is that. You have to be able to sacrifice things that you love for things that you know are important. Such as, Instead of getting Bluetooth so you can talk to your friends and tell what you just purchased from Hollister you should get a car that has a fully equipped air bag system. Am I write or am I wrong? No one wants to be driving around in a car that’s not safe at all. I know if I was paying for my Childs car I would choose Safety over anything else.

Buying a car is not one of those tasks you accomplish in one or two days. It takes hours and hours of research. Most people these days use the internet and websites such as Edmunds.com or Autotrader but everyone knows that no matter what you do you can’t buy a car without going out there to the dealership and test driving it yourself. The hardest job and the most obvious would be picking a price range and sticking to it. You have to choose a price range before going out to the dealership. You can’t go to the dealership and see a car that’s 3,000 dollars more than your price range and then end up getting it. That’s how you end up with loans and debts that haunt you. You can’t ever forget about the extra cost that comes with cars. Such as annual oil changes, Tune up’s, gas, tires, and of course the biggest of all INSURANCE. Let’s get back to some things you have to consider when purchasing a car.

Price
APR ( Annual percentage rate or the amount you will be paying each month for your car if you don’t pay it off)
Size ( if you have kids or are single)
Gadgets (GPS, Bluetooth, etc.)
Engine ( if you love a fast car)
Feel ( How you feel and how smooth the ride is)
Design ( everyone loves a little style)
EPA( how many miles you get out of each gallon of gas)

One of the main things I recommend is always test driving a car before signing those papers. There are a lot of things to look for in a test drive. Some of them being Handling, Park ability, Gadgets, Space (leg room and storage if you love going mountain bike riding.), acceleration, and noise. One of the most annoying things is when you have your sunroof open and it makes more noise than the highest level of your Speakers. Never let those annoying sales men get you into something that you didn’t want because there’s no turning back. Remember there’s no rush. Take your time and make your decision because you’re going to have to drive around in it day after day after day.
