In this method of cosmetic surgery ultrasound rays are use to liquefy the fat cells under the skin. This latest technique can cause various complications like blood clotting, peripheral nerve damage, and a build up of infected fluid. Peripheral nerve damage can occur in arms, legs, neck, or face. If a person is a smoker and suffering from serious diseases then he is not an ideal candidate for the surgery. Many patients complain of swelling, bruises and skin burns after the surgery. Swelling and bruises disappear if proper care is taken in the post operative period. Your surgeon should not remove more than five litres of fat in one session as this can lead to shock.
